My friend and I stumbled across this place after dinner nearby. Although I live in the area and drive past here often, I had no idea when they opened. Although it was a cold night, we just had to try their offerings. Our order was placed online through my friend's mobile phone and was ready within minutes. We even got to choose our level of sweetness and our drinks turned out perfect! This place is obviously new, with a sleek modern design that kinda refreshes this aging plaza. Last Saturday, I had to run an errand in Pickering. I tend to get bubble tea whenever I am out and about. It occurred to me that I have never bought bubble tea in this city because there weren't any places that I wanted to go. Well, I was thrilled when I did a quick search at found this CoCo. I love CoCo. No matter which store you go to, the drinks are consistent. This CoCo is in a plaza close to the Pickering GO station. If I lived here and commuted, it would be deadly picking up bubble tea every time I returned from somewhere. I found a parking spot fairly close to the main entrance. I backed into it. There was one customer who kept getting into my photo shots. I wanted to take a photo of the store. He decided to look at me through the window from inside the store. I waited for him to move and stop staring at me. He did and I got my shot. I walked into the store. It looked pretty new and pristine. I took photos and he got into my shot because he was swaying back and forth. I had to stop looking at him because his movements were making me dizzy. When it was my turn to order, I got the following drinks: - Banana chocolate slush (large) - Large strawberry black tea (large) The former is from CoCo's banana series of drinks, so it was $3.99. I got both drinks with no sugar and less ice. My usual drink is the latter, except that I get coconut jelly as my topping. This place had a handwritten note indicating that it didn't have any. Noooo! I was disappointed. It was as if my usual drink got robbed for no apparent reason. All customers were patient waiting for their drinks. My wait time wasn't bad. I was there for probably ten minutes. It's pretty good considering that there were two staffers making all drinks. When my order number was called out, I headed over to the counter. I saw signs to not grab straws or the order from the canister or staff, respectively. It was weird. I never have that inclination and it was my first time seeing signs to keep my hands to myself. The nice man who took my order asked if I wanted a bag for my drinks. I said yes. He put them in a clear bag and handed it over to me. I thanked him, we both wished each other a great evening, and I happily headed to my car. The first thing that I noticed was that the cups were no longer see-through. They were plain cups. I got a great question from Emily L. as to whether CoCo was moving towards being more environmentally conscious of their products. It could be the plan and I welcome it. I didn't see a recycling symbol at the bottom of my beverage cups. It could be a baby step in the right direction. I had the banana chocolate slush first. I enjoyed it. It was naturally sweet from the banana, but not super ripe. I liked the chocolate flavour with each sip. It was refreshing on a hot day. I was happy! Although my strawberry black tea was missing my usual coconut jelly, I liked it. The best strawberry black tea is at CoCo. Yummy. Consistent. Reunited with my go-to drink. Happy. I do hope that there isn't a coconut jelly shortage in the world. I hope that it returns, along with the passion fruit and QQ. What's different about this location is that the washrooms are available. My local CoCo still has them blocked off due to the pandemic. It's a decent CoCo. This is my first time trying Coco Pickering and the experience to order was amazing! I ordered ahead on the App and my order was ready in less than 10 min. I actually got caught in traffic on the way there, but my drink held up so well. When I got to the store, there was a little bit of a crowd but thankfully not too many people. The staff are taking great COVID19 precautions at this store. I tried the Pearl Milk Tea and it was so good! My sister orders the Caramel Milk Tea and I had the chance to try it. It was really tasty! The App experience was also one of the best I've experienced. I love how easy it is to navigate and I like that I can see my past order details. I think Coco is doing a great job with their drinks and their order experience. I'll definitely be back! read more

I'm so happy to have a Coco in Pickering. I was a little worried that with it being so new, it might not be fully up and running but they proved that they're just as good as any other location...maybe even better! They already have their online ordering system up and running. After I placed my order for 3 drinks, I was told that it would take about 20 minutes to prepare. Close to when the 20 minutes was up, I received a text message letting me know that my order was ready for pickup. Right now you have to take your boba to go since they have removed their seating inside. There is a lot of space without the tables so you can stay very socially distanced while you're waiting. I was greeted immediately upon entering and my order was already at the counter waiting for me for pickup. The trio of bobas was packaged in a very sturdy to-go bag with straws. The pearls were spectacular. I usually get a double order of bubbles since I hate rationing and I'm glad I did because they were tasty and a wonderful consistency. The actual beverage was the brown sugar latte with less ice. It was smooth and easy to drink. Will definitely be back...probably need to control myself actually! read more

Whoa, a coco in Pickering. They have qq milk tea here. It's not on the menu at all coco's, but I asked for it and they had it (not on any of their menus or promo pics). Yum. I don't think they have the extra potato/taro topping though (didn't see it on the menu). Or maybe I forgot to ask for it specifically. It's quality and taste is consistent with Richmond hill, Markham and Toronto locations I've had it at. It was busy, but not Toronto busy. Less than ten mins in and out without using the app. The cashier was really polite. I had to ask to give my number to collect points, but she entered it in with no problems. Parking lot had spaces on a Sunday. Not sure if they have any other really good bbt franchises in Pickering. I would recommend this location for any other bbt connoisseurs out there that don't feel like driving to Scarborough for good bbt. read more

We saw this place was new and decided to check it out. I had Jasmine Milk tea. I really liked it, i wish i had hot it 70% sweet but it was otherwise good. The tapioca was a little soft, but at least it wasnt hard. Also it is much better than the place in the mall. I would god back! read more

Finally a legit bbtea that's within a reasonable driving distance. This is now my new go to place. The quality of bbtea is on par with Toronto. Yum! read more
