This place is so beautiful, relaxing and great service. My girlfriend and I have came to Tulum 5 times and everytime we come we stay at coco hacienda or the chain coco village we have stayed at many air bnb and hotels in Tulum and coco I must say has the best service clean rooms and quiet areas. Whenever you need anything they bring it right away and are so sweet. This is our home away from home. I feel like part of the family. Breakfast is so good you don't even have to go out and look for a restaurant. Everything you need is here. The plants and trees and mirrors and lights are also a vibe!!!!! You want to book with any coco you won't regret it! (Coco hacienda)(coco village) (coco beach)

Fresh coconuts cut from the tree in front of my room after mentioning to the staff I wanted one.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I found it last year and decided to try it due to how inexpensive it was to stay here... did not disappoint not one bit. We drove to Tulum so when you're looking for this place it's like uhhh maybe I should've stayed at a resort, but once inside its this beautiful oasis that helps you escape the noise of the world. The staff were incredible and made communication so convenient (via what'sapp), the location is great for walking to a few shops and restaurants, tulum jungle gym is practically next door, and the food served is tasty.... Overall, coco has made me love tulum so much I find myself here more often than I care to admit lol. This is the best place to stay hands down.

Beautiful accomodations and grounds. People are wonderful. Couldn't of asked for anything better.

A beautiful little hotel kind of far away from the action, but quieter/more peaceful because of it. We loved being able to dip into the two pools on site, and the fact we basically lived in a forest while there??? It was really hot and humid when we went, but Coco Hacienda allowed us to fully relax and recover from a long day of walking and sight seeing. We paid for a shuttle to pick up and drop us off from Cancun airport which was really enjoyable, professional, and smooth ($220 USD round trip for two people). CoCo Hacienda has COVID testing available on site for $50 USD per rapid test, where they have a doctor come to get your sample. However, we chose to get our COVID tests out front from the lady on the street which turned out to be reliable as well for $30 USD. The front desk staff was so friendly and smiley, we really enjoyed our interactions with them. Overall, would highly recommend staying here for a luxe-feel, more budget friendly option in the Tulum area.

My wonderful husband chose this hotel for our honeymoon and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was just excited to spend time with him and explore Tulum! We arrived in the early evening, tired and hungry but we quickly forgot about it when we were greeted at Coco Hacienda by Jafet. He walked us over to our Tulipan room and explained amenities, hours for pool usage and even help set us for for Netflix in our room. He also recommended the hotel restaurant. Before I go over the hotel restaurant let me go over the room: IT WAS A COMPLETE DREAM! The color decor is clean and crisp but vibrant at the same time, we are in a pueblo magico after all! Even the bathroom with the decorated shower tiles and hand painted floral sinks are amazing. The rooms come fully equipped with AC and fans, smart TVs with cable and access to Netflix, Prime and YouTube. Maid service came every morning and made sure our rooms were neat and clean and restocked our water. The pools... best pools of my life. They are huge and Coco Hacienda staff made sure to make them inviting by adding comfy poolside chairs, you are also given 2 pool towel cards at check in that you can use to borrow a towel. The more private pool has a roof covered lounge area with fans and books and magazines to look through. It also has a nearby Zen Zone where you can schedule massages and experiences like a clay or chocolate treatment. These are all listed in US dollars but I'm sure they would be able to adjust accordingly, we used credit card to pay for these :) Back to the restaurant, I'll be honest- it's a little on the expensive side but we are paying for the convenience factor so remember that! There are so many delicious places to eat at in Tulum that are less expensive but they do require some exploring. This restaurant though, is so delicious! The steaks and puerco adobo con piña.. yum!! If you're looking for anything in particular like certain foods, stores, advice or need help with anything at all like taxi service or bikes the front desk staff is always there to help. Jafet is a gem and he helped us by giving us local recommendations as well as advice.. if he didn't know, he would research our queries and give us all the info we were looking for by the time he saw us next. If I can offer a bit of advice when coming to Tulum, bring bug spray! The weather is hot and humid and bugs are just a part of the environment, we got a ton of bug bites the first day. The room does have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and bug spray but just in case, come prepared! Exploring Tulum with my husband was amazing and as I'm saying hasta pronto to all my new friends here I know in my heart that I will be back. Gracias Coco Hacienda!! Nos vemos pronto!

The concierge service was helpful they were able to call restaurant and cabs for us. The location of Mi Amor was also great, not that far from tulum ruins. We were also able to walk to the beach within 5 minutes. Food and service were excellent. We ate breakfast basically every morning at the hotel and we enjoyed everything from the pancakes, granola, oat, avocado toast, teas, and coffees. For lunch and dinner we ate at Mezzanine, casa Maria, and also went outside of the national park down by the hotel zone. The massage was great, we booked ahead of time for the couples massage and really liked it. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Mi Amor, we felt safe and enjoyed our time there.

Enjoy the breakfast (and entire menu!) here as the food is best of all of tulum.

We were given the information about the property and all the amenities as well as given a tour and then shown to our room, typically when you first arrive, they perform a greeting cleanse to, clear energy, set your vibe and give you a little taste of the beautiful Mayan cultural traditions. Unfortunately, when we were shown over to the location where they perform the energy cleanse no one was there so they said we'd have to come back the next day which never ended up happening. Finally, moments before we were checking out we asked if it was possible just to see what the experience was like before we left. That part was actually really good, especially after our experience staying here for six days, which will make sense by the end of this review. When we checked in, it was already dark out but the design and lighting as well as the bio inspired architecture which fuses art in nature was pretty cool to see. They only give you one key for your room for some odd reason, it was a little inconvenient because it meant that me and my wife had to be together at all moments and couldn't explore or do services separately without the hassle of having to meet up to share the key, or the other option is to go walk all the way to the front desk, which, although the walk is beautiful, the design of the floor is made out of a bunch of branches for the walkway and is very difficult to navigate, especially at night so walking turned out to be more of a hassle, but that's just me being nit-picky. The other option is you can reach out to your concierge and then they can send someone which means you're waiting sometimes 5 to 10 minutes, again very small minor inconveniences but nonetheless adds up when staying there for six days. It definitely has an effect on the overall appeal and serenity that one would expect from a place like this. The room itself had two very small shelf like closets definitely not enough hangers or space to accommodate both of our very limited wardrobe that we brought. I had to put 2 to 3 shirts on one hanger and hang the pants inside and that's literally all I brought other than T-shirts and socks and underwear and one pair of nice shoes I literally packed very minimal and still didn't have enough space... again very small inconvenience but nonetheless 20 different small inconveniences all fused together to make one kind of annoying overall experience. Now I can say that I have mixed feelings about the minimal electricity and necessity to use tea candles for our lighting, but I respect the sustainability aspect of it and it did make very nice environment and mood. The only downside is they tell you that you don't blow the candles out and you can leave them on overnight and we had one explode right next to our heads and over all of our bathroom essentials. The shower is right in the middle there's no protection for water so it gets all over the floor, I nearly slipped a few times because of it. Probably sounds nit picky, but these are things I believe make it or break it for places like this. We experienced some type of mishap daily. We ordered hot water and they brought a dirty used coffee pot. They left the dirty brush in the toilet area. Didn't pick it up until the following day. Asked us if we could place it outside the door. Took forever to bring blankets. They got maybe 8/10 requests wrong and charged us for some and denied that, so wasn't able to get a refund. wasn't much, but principally speaking it's horrible feeling in the midst of many things going wrong. Atmosphere - 90% (small weird sewage smell almost everywhere except the room) Vibe - 80% Cost - 75% should be more enjoyable for the price imo... i dont mind paying extra for experience when its on point Food - 60% (first meal, room-service, was incredible {and cost matched that} every other meal on property lacked in all ways except the sushi which we enjoyed as a snack before going to dinner off site. Really over priced in general but the experience and design makes it palatable. Service - 2 stars overall (except for our concierge who had to deal with her associates lack of professionalism and incredible number of mistakes made each day). Location/architecture,view - 100 (If it wasn't for the sound of the ocean slapping the rocks below our balcony and the sound of the waves soothing us at night, waking up to the most amazing view from bed facing the ocean and the sunrise and also the sunsets each night with a great breeze and insane temperatures than this trip would probably have been all bad. My suggestion. Book 1-2 nights for the location and view then find a better spot elsewhere.

There are no concierge reliably onsite. You are given a WhatsApp number to text and sometimes they can be very slow to respond. First issue I ran into was the concierge's lack of punctuality and poor communication regarding bike rentals. She promised a bike at 8am but 15 mins before the agreed upon time texted me that she could not follow through. I agreed to wait until 10 but was delayed a second time until 11. The second delay was not even communicated to me without my prompting. See chat screenshots. The main issue was my balcony was flooded by careless guests upstairs who left their outdoor tub running (see pic). I was splashed and had to change. My phone also got wet and I could not charge it for the rest of the night until it dried. I could have had other valuables such as electronics out that could have been irreparably damaged and I could not use either loungers, which were soaking wet for the rest of the day/night. The water ran for 10 mins before hotel staff could stop it. No one came to clean my balcony. However, most disappointing was the concierge's refusal to take accountability for the incident (again, see screenshots). I would have been happy with a complementary margarita but instead was completely dismissed. I asked to speak to a manager on site and was told there were none. I asked for an email address or phone number and was given only the reservation email address. I detailed my experience in an email and waited 2 weeks before righting this review. No one replied. It is my experience that guests' conduct at the hotel is within the control and part of the hotel's responsibility and that top tier hospitality establishments, which I had assumed Azulik to be, value customer satisfaction and have accountability. I was sadly wrong.

They blocked the police I called from entering the property. There is now an open criminal case with the Quintana Roo State Prosecutor's Office -- file FGE/QR/TUL/DEL/4225/2026, assigned to the Specialized Prosecutor for Sexual Crimes, Tulum. That's an official case reference anyone can verify. Do not give this resort your money. The moment my girlfriend told me what the male spa staff member had done to her, I got her out of the spa and went straight to management. The manager's response: "I know him, he would never do that, I've known him for 3 years." I called 911 myself. Police arrived -- and hotel staff refused to let them through the gate. I spoke to officers through a fence while management told me police were "on the way." When I asked for the staff member's name and the manager's own name: "for privacy reasons we cannot tell you." I have that refusal on video. A front desk employee covered her name tag with her hand. Three men then came to our room who said yes when I asked if they were police -- then claimed to be "from the prosecutor's office" -- covering their badges and refusing to give names or ID numbers for two hours, while my girlfriend, the victim, was too frightened to leave the room. She never got to speak with the real officers, because this hotel turned them away. Imagine how you would feel, knowing the actual police couldn't help, we couldnt just leave because the hotel controlled the gate, and they had security waiting and following us as soon as we left our room. It was terrifying. We don't speak Spanish and were given no translation or victim support of any kind. Security followed us until checkout and wouldn't let our driver through the gate until our card was charged in full. We left the moment we could arrange transportation. Formal complaints are filed with the Quintana Roo prosecutor's office, Hyatt corporate and its ethics line, Mexican consumer and tourism authorities, and the Government of Canada. When it mattered most, this "5-star" resort protected their staff member and stonewalled the police.

Everything felt calm, spacious, and unhurried. We booked the Sea View Ground Floor Suite with Plunge Pool and it was gorgeous. The room had a king bed, two twin pullouts, a small dining table, and a bright, spa-like bathroom with 2 rain showers, dual sinks, and a separate toilet room. The private deck and plunge pool faced the ocean and beach with an unobstructed sunrise view. If we wanted it heated like a hot tub, we'd message the concierge on WhatsApp and they'd turn it on almost instantly. Service was thoughtful and seamless. Check-in was easy, communication was clear, and every night we received pastries and a thermos of tea in different flavors like lemongrass and hibiscus as a surprise treat. On arrival, the adults were welcomed with margaritas and our kids with pineapple juice. Housekeeping was meticulous, right down to straightening our shoes. Beach towels and cover ups were in the room and beachside food and drink service made it easy to spend all day by the ocean. The hotel is small (about 49 rooms) so the beach never felt crowded and there was always space to relax without competing for loungers. We were traveling with family (both of my brothers and their families), and the staff made a real effort to place rooms near each other, which made the experience even more special. Luxurious, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming. NOTES/TIPS: **Book early if you want a specific room type. We booked about four months out and availability was already limited. **They're strict about room occupancy limits. If you have more than 4 in your family, a second room is required. **If you don't want to rent a car or get a taxi, the hotel can arrange round-trip airport transportation for $400 plus tip. **Checkout is at noon. Staff will check the room for any left-behind items and the front desk can hold your luggage if you want to stay and enjoy the property longer.

Certain items are included (the incense around the room and in the bathroom) while others are NOT (the incense on the table), with no clear indications of what is an additional cost. And certainly no price list for the items (which makes sense, since they charged us nearly $50 for a tube of aloe). Aside from profiting off of this miscommunication rather than correcting the issue, the service and basic amenities of the hotel also did not live up to expectations. The room's safe was inoperable and required a technician to come fix it. The de-humidifier was out of maintenance and beeped all night the first day, keeping us up all night. They forgot to include a hairdryer with the room, and then forgot again to bring us one after we called them about it. These issues should not have happened in the first place, and response time to fix them was unacceptable.
