This hole in the wall near the corner of Fitzroy & Grey may look a little bit scary, but it actually has one of the better kebabs in the area! Open from midday until late late late, this is the ideal place to swing into on a Friday night after a few beers.
I can't vouch for the meat but the falafel is excellent - always fried fresh and crispy, and the chips are always cooked to order. The guys who work here are super nice, and once they recognise you you can always expect a cheerful chat. They also have a variety of treats like turkish delight and balaclava that are oh-so-good after a salty meal.
Now, when I rate this four stars, I mean four compared to other kebab joints around the city, so don't walk in expecting MoVida. When it comes down to it this place is still fast, grungy food, but it's actually a surprisingly good feed on a rather sparse end of Fitzroy street.
