I recently purchased a 2023 Yukon from Coconut Point Honda in Estero, FL on May 7th. On my drive home, I immediately noticed the vehicle was surging when maintaining speed. I contacted the dealership right away and took the vehicle to a GMC dealer the next day, where I discovered it needed a new torque converter and valve body--a $4,450 repair for a vehicle I had purchased less than 48 hours earlier for nearly $50,000. I was shocked to learn that although I had purchased a powertrain warranty, it wouldn't take effect for 45 days after the sale. When I approached Coconut Point Honda about this issue, they simply reminded me that I had purchased the vehicle "as is." When I asked about returning the vehicle, they told me they would only take it back at "market value," not as a buyback. The dealership claims all vehicles go through their shop inspection, but my experience suggests this inspection is inadequate. The small things were not even done like the oil life indicator being reset if they even did an oil change. I wish I had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic before finalizing the purchase. If you're considering buying from Coconut Point Honda, I strongly recommend having the vehicle inspected by a third-party mechanic first. Better yet, consider shopping elsewhere. read more

Never buying online again, I bought a 2022 Honda CRV from them, it took them over a week to start the paperwork process to buy since I had my own loan they wasn't in any rush to start my paper work. They said no damage clean car that was a lie three dents on the hood with deep scratches, car wasn't detailed it had stains on the back passenger seat and melted crayons in the door opening inside and a cracked windshield driver side bottom corner. When car finally gets to me the car battery was dead I asked the hauler what happened they said the company had to jump start the car to get it on the truck rack. Very unprofessional car lot I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone buying online from my experience only. Took my one week old 2023 Honda Ridgeline in for an alignment issue, it pulls right and the steering wheel is off center to the left. Had a manager road test with me and he agreed there was an issue. They did the alignment and when I leave the vehicle is doing the exact same thing, no improvement whatsoever. They refused to provide a copy of the before and after measurements, only showing me it and allowing me to take a picture. The readings didn't show caster measurements, they were blanked out. Caster is the most critical angle they can cause a pull. Not very good service for a first time visit and first time Honda owner. read more

I had to pay $165.00 for a front end alignment. I'm 79 years old and I had to wait 45 minutes after my car was finished to pay and get out of there. I kept telling them I had to go home to take my meds.When I went to my car they had put 2 dents on the tailgate. Of course they denied the dents, I got a estimate for $425.00 to repair the dents. However, once going to the dealership they have nearly $4,000 that they have added to the AutoTrader.com advertised price. These additional fees $2,995.00 Hanania Family Plan, and pre-delivery service fee (Documentation Fee) of $899.00, are not disclosed any where in the Auto-Trader add. I brought this up to their General Manager, and his response was that they did not have to disclose these cost on AutoTrader.com. My experience: The prices and discounts that you receive verbally must be put into writing and you must ensure that every price/discount provided in both writing and verbally are then carried over to your bill of sale. Trying to get the salesman, sales manager, general manager and finance manager to agree that their agreed to price and discounts are accurately transitioned into the BOS is like an effort in futility. Numbers don't lie, but liars make numbers. You think that you can trust an established business to be honest and credible when it comes to matching their verbal and written offers on the final paperwork but that's not the case. Check and double check all numbers on the paperwork and use a calculator to ensure accuracy, as it's buyer beware with these individuals. And despite clearly pointing out the BOS error, they still resisted to address the matter adequately. read more

NIGHTMARE and 100% WASTE of TIME and MONEY !!!!! On June 18th I order on-line a front air dam deflector and guard for my new Pilot. The part arrive damaged on July 8th. I blame Coconut Point Honda 100% for the failure to provide any packaging material to protect the product. I contacted the parts department on July 9th and was told to file a claim which I did with UPS. UPS immediately approved the claim. Coconut Point Honda is refusing to ship me a replacement product or refund my money until UPS resolves. When I spoke with UPS they indicated that the delay was on Coconut Point Honda as they have not completed the paper work that was sent. Today, When I spoke with Chris (parts department) he indicated that I would be refunded the money since I filed the claim. I immediately called UPS and they informed me that the shipper is always refunded the claim not the recipient. This has been a complete waste of my time and money! When I said no and went to a more reasonable garage they charged me $244.94 for the estimate calling it a "diagnostic fee" and they wouldn't let me take my car until I paid another $20 for a lot fee. They have a mandatory "Family Package" that is essentially no value, the items listed do not total near the sum of $1800.00. Also, a mandatory "PRO PACKAGE" for $875.00, it appears all the items would have come with the vehicle also from the factory. I have been buying Hondas since 1986 for my family and myself, 3 CRV's 1 Odyssey 5 Accords and 3 Civics. I do not have a problem with the product, Honda builds great auto.
