Terrible customer service. The worker Jaden was extremely rude, and from the beginning tried to charge us way more than was needed. Even after getting a quote from the actual dealership, he still argued with us until the end of the interaction. As a business owner myself and someone who has been around others in the auto industry for my whole life, I would never recommend a shop that operates with this level of unprofessionalism and deceit. I bought a Groupon for a oil change and free tire rotation beware of all the small print of all the extra charges they charge you which ends up being more than a oil change at a quality mechanic Also, once you're in there and they've changed your oil they tell you they cannot change your tires. My tires were only 18 months old and they tried telling me I needed new tires. This is a fraud. Today, I had an appointment set by the manager at 10 AM. After calling the day prior and him telling me how shortstaffed and overworked they are I decided to set an appointment with him so it's not just a walk in and thought that might be better for him. I got there an hour early just to let him know that there is no rush and I figured the earlier I drop it off the better for him just in case he happen to get any extra time to work on it before 10 AM, our scheduled appointment. 2 PM rolls around and I still haven't heard anything about a check up, I decided to reach out and a staff employee says that they are just about to pull up my car and check it out. He will then be calling me to let me know what's going on. They close at 6 PM. At 5 PM, after not hearing anything still, I got an Uber and pulled up at the tire choice. When I pulled up everybody has left work and the final employee is standing there pretty much waiting for me. He said they lost my information and couldn't get in contact with me at all. That's not the worst news, he then says how his technician can't do anything to fix my car. And I should take it to the dealership. Other than completely wasting my whole entire day (845am-6pm)with zero communication and zero respect for anybody else's time but their own, the new manager is in the worst mood because he's so overworked and it shows with his customer service. The second I met him I felt like walking out and taking my business anywhere else just because of how miserable he looked. This is by far the worst tire choice you could ever go to. I would never trust these people with my car!! They will be out of business soon enough with new management like always. You don't treat people this way and expect to succeed. read more

I have used this location for 10 years on 3 of my vehicles. I brought one of cars in 2 weeks ago and this location stated they could not patch my tire because a nail was supposedly too close to the side wall. I bought a new tire for $346. I had a blow out on the highway today in the same tire I bought 2 weeks ago. I took the vehicle and tire back. The tire was a very bad tire, but they stated it was my fault. They replaced the tire after I had to plead my case. Then, they charged me for another road hazard fee and the installation, which was $82. I asked them, why can't you waive that considering I paid $346 already just 2 weeks ago. No, they refused to do anything for me. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Do not give them any business. Made 9:30 appointment online a few days ago for 2 new tires. Called the day before appointment to confirm and make sure they have the tires. Get there before appointment and they said it would take about 60 minutes. An hour later I noticed the car just sitting in the shop. I asked and they said the tires are not in stock even though the system inventory showed they were there. An hour later a guy shows up with the tires. Another guy in the shop looks confused through window since they are telling him he put the wrong used tires on the wrong rim. 1pm paying bill and asked for some kind of discount. Came here for a simple alignment after installing a new steering rack. upon return the car drove horrible, checked underneath a few days later. All of my lateral link adjustments in the rear were loose and my camber was at like -3 and toe in on both. returned with the complaint. The employee said we would need to drop the car off and it would be done SOMETIME today. I had an appointment!! We only have one car. I had a flat tire and called them to ask if they had the tire I needed at the store so I didn't have to drive alll the way there on a flat for no reason and they said that they can't check at the moment and I have to come in to see if they have it..I came here to get 1 single tire changed at 11:15 was told by manager that it would take 30 minutes to get in the shop and 30 minutes to do the service it is now 1:30 (2.5 hours later) and my car is not even being worked on yet!... When I can visibly see two of the "mechanics" goofing off talking to each other working very slow and the other one is talking to them while eating lunch.. I had an appointment for brakes on my car. Came in at 9:30 on Thursday as scheduled and I was told that they do not have a brake specialist on staff for that day. What a waste of time. Went there looking for answers from a "free" inspection left not knowing anything more than when I arrived. Surly guy behind the desk told me it would be done when they could get around to it. He complained that "he needed time". I told him that ""I needed car". I sat in the shop for 30 minutes and no one had told me my car was backed into I walked outside to get my registration thats when I found out. After all that they charged me full price! I made an appointment at this tire choice in order to get new tires for my car as I am going on a road trip. Immediately, I got a sense that this facility is overwhelmingly understaffed. The poor girl who worked the front desk seemed to be doing more than all of the mechanics combined. I was helped, told it would take a few hours, and that they would give me a call once it was finished. Flash forward, 4:00PM rolls around so I decide to give them a call as their shop door reads they close at 5. Yet, when I called, the voicemail said they were closed. I asked a friend to drive me to Tire Choice. We got there, sure enough the garage was closed, doors were locked. What's even worse was that my car was nowhere to be seen. Extremely frustrated, I realized the only thing I could do was wait for the next day. Next day, I go in and ask about my car. I ask, "Is it procedure to call customers if you know their car will not be done on time?" The acting manager made an excuse that a worker 'must not have done his job.' I'm sorry but as the acting manager, you should be taking responsibility and accountability, not blaming it on another worker. Completely unprofessional. What's even better, upon getting my car, the wheel center cap on one of my tires was missing. I went back inside, and asked to have the cap be put on. The "manager" said "the cap was gone when I pulled the car in" (after saying one of his workers pulled the car in). I proceeded to show him a picture of my car that showed all of the wheel centers on and in place. But, the manager did not take any accountability (shock). Basically, save yourself the time and stress. DO NOT GO HERE. Unless you want something sketchy and unwarranted to happen to your personal property. read more

If they aren't capable of dealing with your car they should just fess up and send you somewhere else, not try and fix it and which caused more issues than originally brought in for ..... when we tried to travel home North and had significant problems...we stumbled across a 40 yr tech that commented they "butchered" the car, what needed to be done verses what ended up being, their "fix it" caused a very dysfunctional vehicle...showing our invoices, he said they screwed up worse than when we started, the incompetence of the technic staff are the worst we've ever dealt with! They never call, the communication is nil!in the 3 months we dealt with them! the staff turnover was about 3 times in 6 months.... Very very negative experience..... if I could stand at the front door and warn everybody I would but I hope this review is read by some and all I can say is, BE AWARE! read more

The Rick Johnson in Estero I have been going there for several years now to get work done, oil changes ect.2 months ago my headlight went out and I needed to have it replaced so they charged me 119.00 for the headlight for a Mazada 6 and another 75.00 for labor .I thought it was really high .I was shocked,But I've been going to them for severals years and I trusted them.Anyway the other day my other headlight went out I took it up to Pep boys for the same headlight they charge me 15.99 and 20 .00 for labor with tax 41.00 .This is a huge difference so needless to say my trust is gone with them .And thinking back now eveeytime I went in there they always said this needed to be replace or that needed to be replace .They gauge people I'm calling the manager tomorrow. I would not recommend this place to anyone.They are definitely untrustworthy. read more

If you have a nice car, DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. I arrived to the manager getting his car done first (I called ahead). So I had to wait until he was done putting his tires on. Then while waiting for my car to get 4 new tires, I would watch the entire staff just stop working, leave, and go watch some guy do burnouts in the parking lot. After waiting almost 4 hours, the tech came to me and told me that "I was missing a wheel lock" which is code for "Hey I stripped your wheel lock and will not take responsibility for it." They also scuffed one of my wheels, which they also forgot to tell me. I could not wait to get my car away from them. Never again. read more

J and Brian went above and beyond for me. I arrived very close to closing time and felt bad about the poor timing on my behalf but they quickly reassured me not to worry. My car died a few days prior but then turned back on so i wasn't sure what was wrong with it. They ran a diagnostic test and everything came back okay but they still wanted to keep it to find the problem. It wasn't even about the money, it was about my safety. I will only be going to them as long as i live in this area. 100/10 place. i wish i could give more than 5 stars read more

Had an appointment for oil change. Ask for pricing on phone when making appointment and they gave me price based on make and year of my car. Showed up for appointment and told they apparently forgot to write it in the book, so rescheduled. Showed up and before leaving car and getting ride home, they said they would not honor the price quoted day before and it would be 3 times as much. Left store without oil change. I am local customer and have had bad experience with them several times in past, but I thought maybe just maybe they would change their ways of doing business. I have never written a negative review for a local business, but after 3 times of unethical and poor service, I feel I have done my best to give them a honest chance. read more

Worst customer service ever. I brought my car there because my light came on and then they called me and told me it would cost 844 dollars to fix my brakes and emergency brake. So I fixed my brake pads and rotors only. And paid 500 and two days later my light came on and the guy at the store threw my paper at me and told me there was nothing wrong with my car. So I came back again and my light was on and they said they temporarily fixed the problem and I should be okay with my e brake for a little while and then the next day's my brakes started to squeak and grind so I brought it back they said it was fine the back ones needed to be adjusted so again I drove the car and say problem. I took it to the other Rick Johnson to find out they didn't tighten my back brakes and used the cheapest brakes they had and didn't even bother asking me if that was okay. Sure it was one of the worst services I ever had. I am not picky with service but left very disappointed on this one. First of all gave them a call before going there, the price was 169 + taxes over the phone, don't know how the estimate come there came up as $198. Until them that's fine don't mind paying extra. The initial service was to change my front pads on a 350z, they took off all my tires and now say they can't put back unless I buy 6 lug nuts or I would have to tow the car, the car got there just fine, them he said probably the last tire change or replacement I had broke them, note: they performed all the late services in my car including change my tires (my rim cap got lost right after I left the shop in Bonita beach rd on a less than 2 mile ride, it costed me 120 for replacement). Them he came up with a crazy invoice for replacing this and that with almost $800, I get it that maybe the stuff needed to be replaced but its my choice to replace it or not, but apparently I had to change or tow the car that I drove took there just fine. I Drove the car there and never had a problem with it, so now if I don't change at least the back nuts (requested front pads replacement) i will have to tow the car? Wtf? So bottom line, I costed $305 to change the front break pads and some 6 lugs that I never had to change in first place when I got there. The guy at the computer definitely didn't know what he was doing because he called for help over 3 times while preparing the invoice on the system taken a long time. This is my first bad review at a service, usually I am all about help business to grow and become more popular and helping the others but this place definitely need better professionals!!! read more
