I have a fleet of about 13 newer Chevrolets and I will NEVER GO BACK to this terrible department they scheduled me in at 9 am to tell me it's going to be about 30 minutes to an hour, no need for a ride or an uber 11:30 car still had not been touched mind you for a center console lid that wouldn't open. I purchased a new battery for my 2021 Equinox on June 28th, 2025. Meaning the original battery lasted a good 4 plus years in that car. The car would not connect to Onstar App, would not open the doors or start with key fobs (new batteries installed a week prior). So, we did trouble shooting and jump started the car, determining the battery was the issue. The battery was purchased 8 months prior at Estero Bay Chevrolet. I called the service department to let them know I was enroute with the vehicle, that required a jumpstart, the person who answered sounded irritated that I would call about this. Had a response of, "ok, we will let you know the problem when you bring the car in". Thought a heads up would be a nice courtesy, but apparently it was not seen as that, felt more like I bothered them with my call. We took both cars in so that if it was not the battery that was the problem, we still had a working vehicle and not stranded. The car was dropped off, and I saw 4-5 porters sitting around outside, there were many "service advisors" present. It was a Saturday, so I noticed this being surprised by the amount of people there. The woman sitting up front on her phone briefly looked up and pointed while saying you can go down and talk to an advisor. We told the advisor how we came to our diagnosis and said if it is the battery we just need it fixed. We cannot have a car without a battery and that we had purchased that one 8 months ago. Over 1.5 hours later with no update online and no response from the advisor I texted them, still no response. I then went in to see what the diagnosis was or what was going on. Waited for awhile to speak to the "advisor" assigned to the car since another customer was questioning their bill in front of me. There was the original woman sitting in the front on her phone, and about 4 other men with zero customers. I had to stand (no seats available in the service advisor area) and wait approximately 20 minutes while this customer expressed frustration and the advisor ran back and forth from printer to desk, printer to desk. Finally, he finishes and I keep standing there while he staples papers and what not. There are still zero customers with any of the other advisors sitting behind their computers. I could tell one person out of the bunch truly cared and wanted to help but it seemed whatever system is used they didn't have that option. THEN the pure and absolute frustration begins. Our "advisor" then says, "your car's battery is dead, all you need to do is pay the labor". I told him it was under warranty and he then tells me that is not part of the "warranty" on a battery. Now, I do know that GM reimburses for warranty work and that does include labor as well as parts that are covered. So please explain to me why I would be told I have to pay labor? Is it because the management had too many workers sitting around on their phones? Was it because I was a woman and well, do I need to mention how I have been treated since the 90s at dealerships when I went in for anything? I grew up in Detroit, I was married to the auto repair industry for almost a decade. I know how warranty work is paid out and the system. My cars are purchased through the GM family plan. So, I am told the battery was not replaced yet and this point and that I owed more money. Money on a battery with a 36-month warranty if purchased at a "GM service center" which Estero Bay Chevrolet clearly is. I then told the advisor this issue is not on me, it's on them. That I had a nonfunctional vehicle for over a week since I could not bring it in Monday -Friday due to work. That I had to troubleshoot and gain access to open the car, obtain jumper cables, and a second car to jump the dead battery. Then I have a follow car to bring the Equinox in and wasted my Saturday off dealing with this mess. He then said, "well I can get the manager if you want but the labor is not part of the warranty". I then waited for the manager, who in a very short and bothered tone spoke across the room while sitting down behind a computer said, "batteries down here in Florida only last about 1-2 years but I'll cover the labor for you this ONE time". As if it's a favor to me and to expect to buy a battery at full price to only last about half the life span noted on said battery. Even though General Motors states there is a 36-month warranty on battery purchases. Not one single, I'm sorry this happened, let me take care of that and get it fixed. The manager didn't even walk over to speak to me face to face or make any apology. The only acceptable response to this situation would have been, "I'm sorry that battery died so soon, we'll get that replaced and get you on the road ASAP". Short and simple but that was not the case here. Then I was told it would take another 20 minutes for them to install the battery. They hadn't even put a new battery in the car! This has been the most unprofessional dealership I have ever worked with. The sales representative, Jaclyn, emailed an application that included an outdated out‑of‑state driver's license number, despite the fact that I had already provided my current license. When I questioned the discrepancy, she falsely claimed that a new rule in Florida required the old ID to be included. She later admitted the information was incorrect but then argued that she was simply following what she had been told. I asked to speak with someone who could assist more effectively and was connected with Christian. I explained the previous issues with the application and the buyer's order and informed him that my bank required their name to be included on the buyer's order. Christian insisted this was against the law and began pressuring me to use the dealership's financing instead. When I explained that another dealership had been able to include the required bank information without issue, he began raising his voice, and I ultimately ended the call. My truck had 2900 miles still under full bumper to bumper warranty front brake caliper was bad and they refused to replace it no matter how much I explained to them what the problem was. He never listened to what I said,like he knew more than me About it. I was trying to tell him how to duplicate the problem. He just wanted to drive it instead to see for himself.Well 3 days and 35 miles of him driving with a bad caliper and my brakes dragging on the rotor making it worse day by day and on the third day, still says my brakes have nothing wrong with them.by this time, I was furious and didn't let them know. I was tracking 35 miles on my phone, Two days of driving it, and never once back at the shop after the drive. Just parked it in the same spot on the lot he got it from. told them I was coming to pick it up I have someone else to take care of it and getting a second opinion. and of course, when I came to pick it up, they told me everything was perfectly fine. there was nothing wrong with my brakes. Well, needless to say, dragging my brakes, all the way home they were smoking hot. Hence the reason for bringing it in in the first place about a 16 mile drive for me to get home. Took it to another dealership in Fort Myers where after explaining my fiasco with Estero Bay Chevrolet, they took my truck in that very same day and re-placed front rotor front caliper and put new brake pad On my truck as I requested with no questions asked upon inspection. I am just glad that no one got hurt Or killed while driving it .They are reckless, and in my opinion, should not be repairing vehicles of any kind. Bought 3 vehicle's from them brand new. Bought a new car Nov 7th and dealer paperwork was for the wrong Suburban, Christian, Rocco, Paul have all failed at servicing the dealer they work for in getting this matter handled quickly. This review is being written on Jan 12th and I still do not have my proper paperwork, Title to my paid for Suburban or any extended warranty paperwork. I guess they are all the same, jump through hoops until you sign. Ester Bat Chevy has had my truck for 2.5 MONTHS!!! it started with a bad fuel injector pump which took them a month to get the tool to fix the part. finally got it back and I didn't even make it out of the parking lot. THEY DIDNT TIGHTEN THE BRACKET TO THE PUMP. So as soon as I started my truck and hit the gas it came loose inside my tank. took them 1.5 weeks to fix no idea why should have been done that day. pick it back up now I have a coolant leak. and they keep changing the issue up and the date/time it will be fixed. I was recommended to this dealer by a friend so I took my 2021 Corvette in for an oil change washer fluid refill and I needed air in my tires. When I arrived, I was told it would take an hour and a half to two hours to have my oil changed. I was also told that there was a recall on my car that would take three hours at least I said I didn't want to do the recall at this time. Just do the three things I came in here for. So at three hours I went to find out if my car was done. When was it gonna be done then I was informed that no because they were doing the recall even though I said I didn't want it done. I said OK great I'm here. It's taking this long. I'm good. So five hours. I finally get my car. They did not do the recall. The only thing they did was change the oil when I got in my car to take and drive away. It came up that they did not put air in my tires and they did not put fluid in my washer. I will never use this dealership again. I would not recommend it and it is the worst service I've ever had in my whole life. read more

Worst service center I've ever dealt with. Dropped my truck under warranty off on Friday. No communication at all until I called Monday morning right when they opened. Was told I would get a call in the afternoon for an update. I called back at 4pm after no phone call and was then out on hold for 45 mins. While still on hold I showed up to get an answer and was told they need an extra 72 hours to diagnose a noise. Our salesperson Norman was both pleasant and informative with absolutely no pressure at any point during the transaction. The whole team was there to work out a deal that was both fair and equitable to both sides. I called Saturday inquiring about a truck that was for sale and was referred to Mark Sievert, he text me a Proposal and when I text back I got no answer. The following Monday I called and he was showing no interest in helping me ( Brushing me off) but he said he'd call me back once he's talk to his manager about removing some fees from the proposal. Mr. Perez: I just arrived home from Estero Bay Chevrolet, and could not wait to send you this email. My experience today at Estero Bay Chevrolet was THE WORST auto service experience I have ever had in my 68+ years on this earth. I made an appointment, on line, on November 11, 2024 for an oil change, today, 11/19/2024 at 1:30 pm. I arrived at approximately 1:00 pm, and spoke with Service Advisor 142170, Cardinal Shing. We went to my car. He checked a few things, and took some pictures. In addition to the oil change I let him know I just got a reminder on my dashboard that my air filter needed to be replaced at my next oil change, so I asked him to complete that. My tires had not been rotated for a while so I asked him to have that done also. At 1:06 pm my car was pulled in to the shop. At 4:00 pm, I received my car back. Almost three hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and a new air filter is, at the very least, ridiculous. Oh, did I mention I had an appointment? When I finally received my car, there were greasy handprints all over the driver side door. The glove box was also in disarray. I have no idea why the tech needed to be in the glove box. All I wanted to do was get out of there so instead of pointing out the handprints I just wiped them off myself, but there is no excuse for getting my car back in that condition. After examining my bill, I cannot find on the invoice where I received my 10% discount for my afternoon appointment. Also, on my invoice is an $8.00 charge: Customer pay shop charge for repair order. Can you please explain that charge to me? Also, as was the case the last time I was in for an oil change, I did not get the windshield sticker indicating when I was due for the next oil change. My Invoice number was: 137171. Also, I did not receive the report on the multipoint inspection, which I believed was completed with the service. I didn't get this report the last time I was in for an oil change because the printer that printed that report was down. I bought my truck from Estero Bay Chevrolet in 2019. During the first couple years of owning the truck any service that needed to be attended to was done promptly and professionally without issue. The last couple of years since they had sold the dealership my service encounters has been very poor. I've had a few oil services and a recall service done on the truck. The last two oil services they failed to reset the service settings and they failed to update the recall notice being completed, which I continue to get recall notices for. Resetting the oil service is not a big deal, but one that you think the mechanic would do after servicing, as they used to do, not leaving it up to the owner to do. I am very particular about my vehicles, in keeping them clean and damage free. After my last oil service, my truck was returned with a dent along the top of the front fender well where the mechanic had to lean into service the truck and a scratch down to the metal on the drivers door near the door handle where I assume they hit the lift with the door. Their solution was to use a marker similar in color to the paint job to cover up the damage. Just recently, I took the truck in to have the 4 tire pressure sensors replaced as the battery life had expired in a couple of them. They were going to charge me over $800 to have the 4 sensors replaced. When I set the appointment up with the first service advisor, he gave me an estimate of what the service was going to cost. When I showed up to have the work done, the service advisor I dealt with that day gave me a totally different and escalated price. The sensors typically run about $30 apiece. Absolutely outrageous pricing! Costco did the job for $250. read more

This dealership is horrible. I had my car worked on a month and a half ago and they replaced the water pump and an engine seal. I took it home and it was leaking fluid I took it back for a second visit. They told me it was a bad water pump. Went home next day still leaking fluid. In result, it took three visits to discover that it was a bad seal.... Then I recently had a driver side window issue. I called. They said, bring it in and indicated they could get to it in a couple days which was on a Wednesday. Received a call Friday saying they could not get to it till Monday at least Tuesday. they did not get to it until Wednesday eight rental card days later which was a $500 additional bill to the $900 bill to fix the window plus the almost $3000 bill for my water pump. They are horrible will never go back. read more

Made an appointment and brought my Corvette in for an open recall. Arrived at 9:28 am. Check in "only " took 1/2 hour (9:54 am). The car records every time it is started. Worked done and car parked at 10:24 am. Service Advisor Cardinal Shing comes over to the waiting room at 11:30 am and says "I'm just finishing up on your paperwork - meet you at my desk". 10 minutes later he shows up and I get checked out at 11:40 am. That is a full HOUR and 16 minutes after the car was parked and done, while I'm sitting in the waiting area for nothing. I go speak to Rodney Perez, the Service Director, who has no answer, no apologies. He just says "I have only been here for 90 days" !. At the time the vehicle wasn't on the lot for sale. The vehicle has had issues since I've left the lot.I contacted the sales rep and he informed me to bring it to ford. Now the warranty that I paid over 4000 dollars for won't pay for the repair. ?why would you sell me a warranty that only covers 20% of the work. reliance/endurance from what I gather. Our experience with this dealership has been a headache to say the least. When you are purchasing a vehicle they are very welcoming and handing you waters etc. We have purchased High Country 3500 Dually trucks, to say the least are not cheap trucks. We have purchased a total of three the most recent being a 2022 We also purchased a 2022 colorado. First off, be weary of the service department. A couple of months into purchasing my Colorado I got a flat tire. I took it to service to have it repaired because the sensors kept going off that the tire pressure was low. They repaired it and readjusted the sensors. As soon as I get on the highway the sensors start going off. This was a day before leaving town, I thought the sensors had not reset properly. No, they did not mount the tire properly and had to have someone come out and replace it. Imagine the damage and accident this could have caused on the highway because they could not take the time to properly inspect the new tire they were mounting. An extra $4,000+ in insurance/protection for what?! The worst part is recently with our 2022 3500 High Country.We took it in because it was time for its first oil change but also because it started making a weird noise. They said they would try to fit it in their schedule. This is a truck that is producing money for our company and it has now been sitting in their shops for weeks. They want to charge us over $4,000 on a repair because they claim that water got into the diesel tank. This is a brand new truck for it to already be having all these problems. Jose is very rude and starts raising his voice at you almost to the point he is yelling. We paid over $8,000 in insurances/protections for this expensive truck and they want to charge us all this money for something we did not do. Either the truck came faulty or they tell us it is the gas stations fault. More people would have complained to the gas station by now because we were not the only ones pumping diesel that day. Guillermo or William in financing, I had respect for him but it is ridiculous the amount of voicemail and calls I have left him only for him to not even bother to return my phone call. I had to speak to Russel about the paper work on our insurance and warranty because we are panning on reviewing it with your lawyers. They have not sent anything over. There is no communication on their part. William was the first one to see us a High Country back in 2019 and for him to be in financing now and not return a phone call. This is not how accommodating he was when we were signing the paperwork and giving the deposit. We tried speaking to the manager and all they do is pass us along to another seller. We do not want this truck anymore and all they offer is $50,000 for it and to sell us another. I bet William and Jose will be the very first ones to attend to us if we say we are purchasing another truck. I never complain but this is ridiculous. I will be contacting Chevrolet themselves as this dealership all they care about is you when you are handing them a check or money. I can see why the vendor who sold us the 2022 High Country is now working in Dodge. We have spoken to other agencies and they have said Estero is known for scamming when it comes to servicing. They will ask charge GMC for the servicing from the insurance and then will charge you. Someone posted something related in a recent review. I was advised to also file a complaint with State Consumer Protection Agency and Federal trade commission or GMC themselves. Might have caught him on a bad day, but I called again and BOTH TIMES on March 18, 2021 at 4:21pm and then again on Saturday April 3, 2021 around 3-4pm. I really seemed like I was inconveniencing him for requesting service. I had to bring it here anyways for a specific part. But unfortunately in May of 2022 I took it for an oil change and after driving it for miles we found out they didn't put oil back in, so it cost us a New engine which cost $9,000 dollars and they fail to take responsibility for any wrong doing, It's been a nightmare.
