I saw Laurie for the first time back in February... she was great!!! I have some adult acne and…read moreshe recommended products to use and my skin has looked so much better since! She was also very educational with the questions I asked and offered other recommendations to help with my skin. My skin can be sensitive at times so I was worried about trying new products. Per Laurie's recommendation I bought a toner, vitamin c & e, a pore & wrinkle serum, & a moisturizer. I love them all and most importantly, my skin does too! I would also like to note that she was not in any way pushy about buying the products. She suggested the ones to get first if I was looking to budget. I ended up buying them all and found the pricing very reasonable. I just rebooked and can't wait to see Laurie again.

Instead of calling me and asking if I was OK, as any caring business owner would, I was blacklisted from booking appointments online. Marisa only cares about your wallet and it's evident in the fact that in the 6 years I was a client, she went through 3 different product lines in the guise of "providing the best for her clients" i.e., what will make her the most profit. She forces product sales and tells her estheticians to do the same. If you're not her daughter or a family friend, you won't last there as an employee. Her prices are on par with high end Boston spas, but in North Attleboro. I presume she has to pay the mortgage on her extravagant new location somehow. I regret having spent thousands there over the years. EDIT 1/2/2025 in response to business owner comment -- I understand the need for strict no-show and last-minute cancellations, which of course are intended to recoup loses from UNRELIABLE clients. Not from clients diagnosed with cancer who are trying their best to maintain some sense of normalcy in life who have a long history of maintaining a proper client-business relationship. My treatment based on extenuating circumstances cannot reasonably be considered "understanding and flexible". It is important to current and future clients that they consider how quickly a business devalues a client, so they can make the most informed decision on where to receive these types of services. The best way to address my concerns would be to treat clients better than I've been treated. I in no way mean to harm your business. Everyone can read all reviews here and on other websites and decide for themselves if they wish for their hard-earned dollars to support your business.

No one closely looked at my face or scars when I came in for the consult. One person looked at my face without any type of magnifier, just across the desk from where i shelled out 2,400 bucks because I was told the treatment works for scars. I will post my complaint nand pictures to as many media outlets possible to save others from the same predicament and to tell how SkinMD remedies this if at all. I'm sure the Neogen Plasma works, but no one should be sold something that has no value to them. Finally, The procedure was painful. The gel used supposedly has anesthetic/ numbing properties, yet it was less than 10 seconds between applying it and hitting my skin with the treatment wand. Maybe because it was Friday at 5pm and the technician was in a hurry to get done for the week that the few seconds to let me numb up a bit were not spared? My eyelashes got singed along with some of my hairline, red raw skin spots resulted and remained raw for 4 weeks after treatment.. Evidently these areas were done "extra" ; around my scars and in random areas that seem more like errors in the procedure than purposeful. The raw skin I don't think healed better with the 100 dollar plus after treatment cream they insisted worked wonders. I hope to get a refund at the least. I will post what happens at my follow up.... .

(The painkillers and tranquilizers also helped a lot :). It's been about 5 weeks and I had a follow-up visit the other day; all is healing well. The only think I think could have improved my experience is better information and details about the healing process and after-care. I wasn't aware that it can take up to 6 months for full healing, which I learned on my own through research at at y follow-up visit. I've also learned more on my own about the vital importance of the compression garment. They mentioned it briefly, but more in-depth details would have been good. I would also have liked a compression garment that fitted me better; I had to alter the one they provided because the shoulder straps were too short and not adjustable. I've purchased another garment to use, and also plan to get a lymphatic massage to aid in scar tissue smoothing and fluid removal. I suggest that SkinMD provide a brochure with detailed after-care information and healing time, and links to reputable websites and videos about healing and self-care. But overall I'm happy with my results - no regrets! - the price was reasonable and everyone has been professional and friendly. Thank you -

I was able to book online for an appointment the next day, which was very convenient, and they had a few options of locations to choose from for maximum convenience. I meant to arrive a little earlier to fill out paperwork as instructed, but got stuck in traffic. The questions at the front desk only took a couple minutes and I was still able to get my full service time. The verbiage online made it confusing as to whether there's about 10 minutes both before AND after your service for 'consultation and dressing,' so I'm still a little unsure if you're actually paying for 40 minutes or 50? Answering the borderline personal and medical questions aloud at the front desk felt a little invasive - I would've rather filled it out on an ipad than answer aloud in front of others, it felt like a privacy violation? I was offered the restroom both before and after my service, which was clean. The massage room had full walls (much more cozy and relaxing than another spa I'd been to recently that only had curtain walls!!) and some soft relaxing music was playing, along with a glowing salt lamp. Kim double checked my answers that I gave the front desk to make sure there weren't any areas I didn't want touched as well as where I wanted to focus. She was very attentive when I described my recent activities and how they left me sore in certain areas, was concerned when I explained past injuries, and was very animated and friendly. I was encouraged to speak up if I wanted more or less pressure at any time, but honestly she nailed it and I didn't have to ask for an adjustment even once! She noted which areas felt out of alignment and followed up afterwards with how they responded to the massage. She talked if I started a conversation, or was quiet when I got quiet - she was very intuitive to what I wanted. The time went by quickly and I was relaxed even though I had some knots and more intense areas that had to be dug into more thoroughly. Kim provided me with aftercare tips and a plan moving forward for continual care of problem areas, which felt very caring and was not something I received at other spas I've visited - very relationship focused! I'd love to see Kim again, she made me feel right at home and made my foot pain disappear, but sadly this is not the closest location for me. I may have to trek further just for her! Based on reading reviews online, I was expecting a pretty heavy membership sales pitch after the service, and was dreading it - I'd actually been avoiding ME solely because of this, but I really was only asked by the desk if Kim went over it with me and if I had any questions - much less annoying and aggressive than I had anticipated! The front desk answered any questions I had and let me know about a promotion they're running if you newly sign up for a membership. The worst part about the appointment is the busy parking lot this strip mall has - people drive crazy fast and it's hard to find a spot, even though it's a very big lot. I'd love to visit again and will surely keep them in mind for my body work needs! A gift card here would be such a wonderful gift, especially if they're able to work in the first timers' discount to combine with a gift card.

I was told that I can use gift card for my…read moremonthly membership payment, so I bought the gift card, and ask them to take money from there for my next payment. However, I still saw that money has been taken from my bank account not the gift card. I asked the front desk again what was going on, and this time they said we NEVER said gift card could be used for monthly payment. If you wanted to use it, needed to use it for additional message. And this is not the first time they said something for sure but later denied everything once they got the money.

Parking in on street, I don't believe you have to pay though. Staff is super nice and welcoming, gave us the run down, provided us with a sandals and a robe. The robe are pretty size inclusive, I only had a little gap, and I'm a 3x. You get a locker and they even have a bathing suit dryer when you're done (pictured) That said, it's a smaller space than the Newport location inside, where the actual pools/saunas are. However, you can still get in and out of the pools with ease because of the railings. There is maybe enough space for two in the plunge pool. Staff came through with some cool eucalyptus towelettes and there is free flavored or non flavored water to drink. The cons for me would be the parking, and the over booking, people were struggling to find places for their robes and cups. Otherwise, this is a great experience for your body and peace of mind, would recommend.

My husband and I checked in and was greeted by a friendly staff member who told us our locker number. Then, another staff member told us what we would find in our locker and about the water journey. The locker room was very clean and spacious. I put on my robe on top of my bathing suit and sandals and headed to the water journey space with my reusable water cup. The water journey space includes: 98° Bodhi Glow Mineral Pool, 104° Bodhi Restore Mineral Pool, eucalyptus steam room, cold plunge, full spectrum infrared sauna, traditional finnish dry sauna, and a relaxation area. The Water Journey is 2 hours and 30 minutes and we spent pretty much the full time in the space. There were probably 14 people total in the space at the same time, but it didn't feel crowded. Also, everyone honored the whisper policy and no one was obnoxiously loud. At one point, the staff came around with cold towels. As our time was almost up, we headed to each of our locker rooms and took a shower. The shower had body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There was also a bathing suit spinner that dries the water out of the swim suit. The water journey was definitely worth $85.00. I had such a relaxing time and can't wait till next time. Reservations do fill up, so I definitely recommend making your reservation sooner than later.
