    Mineral pools and cold plunge
    Kristen S.

I heard about the water journey from a friend and knew I had to experience it for myself, so when my friends asked what I wanted to do for my birthday, I knew this was something that we would all enjoy! I booked a private water journey event and we all cleared our schedules for the day. The water journey books 12+ weeks out, so be mindful of that if you plan on reserving the entire space for your group. We checked in at the desk and met the team that would be checking in on us during our event. They went over some safety information, explained the recommended outline for how to enjoy the water journey, and reminded us of their whisper policy. They shared our assigned locker numbers and led us to the changing area/locker room. Inside the lockers were a robe, a cup so we could keep hydrated with the lemon water they provided, no slip sandals, and a towel. We changed up, put our things in the lockers, showered, and headed into the water journey. I'm glad that we had booked a private event, I'm not sure I would have been very comfortable navigating this space for the first time with people I didn't know. Since we all started at the same time, the various pools and saunas felt a little crowded at times, but after we completed our first cycle, we split up and naturally gravitated back to the pools and saunas that we had enjoyed the most, making each space much less crowded for the remainder of the event. After two hours of enjoying hot mineral pools, cold plunges, saunas, and aromatherapy steam, we were all really relaxed and felt amazing. A staff member came by and passed out cold lemongrass scented facecloths, which was a wonderful touch and just what we needed. The locker/changing rooms have everything you need - including a hair dryer, Q-Tips, hair elastics, and mints. They even offer a small machine that can quickly air dry your wet bathing suit so you don't have to carry it home with you dripping inside your bag. We plan to book another private event sometime in the fall and I want to come check out the express water journey they offer in the evening to see if it's something I can build into my weekly wellness routine.

    Hallway to paradise.

This is a treat to myself every 3 months. This is an oasis in the city. The staff is always pleasant and Sarah did a great job with my Crown to sole massage. That includes a massage with heat, stones and suction AND a facial. Absolutely wonderful! I used to go to Elana, but she is no longer there. Sarah was a great masseuse and look forward to my next appointment.

When the waves of life are crashing and beating me up, the spa is my life guard. It rescues me. When the ship that I'm steering is off course and chaotic, the spa is my sail and puts me back on course. When I'm lonely and looking for connection, the spa is a friend to me and reminds me to value myself. The spa has something for everyone. Thank you to all the workers who were kind, and approachable. The facility was very clean and the water journey was easy to understand and I immediately felt the therapeutic benefits.

I am so happy I did for the first time. I was in perfect harmony and cannot wait till the next time I have the opportunity to come back. It was the perfect way to spend our day off on Juneteenth. I used vagaro, the online appointment scheduling platform for Harmony on Hope Massage, to book The Perfect Pair - Couples Massage for 60 Minutes for $240 with Matt Kenny and Nikki Seidman. The system was easy to use and there were plenty of availabilities so you can choose what date, time, and therapists works best for you. Just make sure to allocate enough time to answer questions related to your medical history and any specific areas you want the therapists to work on. Since making the appointment date to our appointment date, we received multiple appointment reminders via text and email. Our appointment was at 10:30 AM on Wed, June 19, 2024. We parked on the side street, but it looks like there is a small parking lot next to the building. We arrived to Harmony on Hope Massage around 10:20 AM and was greeted by Shannon, founder of Harmony on Hope Massage. She made sure all our forms were completed, informed the therapists we arrived for our appointment, and told us where the restroom was. In the waiting room, there was filtered water, mini zen garden, and the wall behind Shannon was decorated with handmade wood frames with crystals, feathers, and branches. Matt and Nikki came to greet us in the waiting room and welcomed us to a room with two massage tables side by side and two chairs with a table in the middle. We discussed what we wanted the therapists to work on, if we wanted the heat on the table, what to take off or leave on, what position to lie in on the table, complimentary hot stones if wanted, aromatherapy, pressure strength, and so much more. After our meeting, they left and we undressed and got on the massage table. We put our clothes on the hangers, rings in the ring dish, and a basket underneath the table. Soft music played in the room. After the massage was finished, the therapists left and we got dressed. The therapists met us and asked how we felt. My massage therapist felt I was tense in between my shoulder blades and released the tension. My back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck, and shoulders felt so relaxed, physically and mentally. This was probably the best full-body massage I've ever gotten. My favorite part was when my shoulders, scalp, and hips were being massaged. I also enjoyed the hot towels. Only the area being worked on was exposed from the sheets. From the check-in to check-out, the whole experience was marvelous. All the staff are very professional. Shannon charged us for the visit and we were able to Venmo our tips for the message therapists. Our therapists Venmo QR code was in a ring holder. I can't stop talking about this massage experience and looking forward to the next one.

Five-Star Review for the Hands of Hercules a.k.a. Scott Bonelli…read more Let me set the scene: I was walking like a newborn deer--thighs burning, muscles screaming, and my soul in desperate need of... release. I didn't need a hot date or a night out--I needed Scott. The man, the myth, the massage therapist who handles you like he's got a PhD in "Making You Moan (Respectfully)." At first, I was hesitant. An older man? Touching my delicate, overworked flesh? But the moment his meaty paws landed on my legs, I knew--I was in danger. The good kind. Like "bad decisions in Vegas" danger. His hands were like rolling pins of redemption, kneading the hell out of every knot, every worry, every regret from 2007. I was putty in his palms. Soft, sweaty, satisfied putty. Scott didn't just massage me. He manipulated me. He positioned me like a seasoned tango dancer--leading, guiding, controlling--with the confidence of a man who has seen some stuff and massaged through it anyway. And oh, the eye contact. I swear he looked straight through my chakras and down into my dark, twisty little soul. I almost asked for the full service--but before I could open my mouth, he'd already given me a full-body release that left me limp, happy, and reconsidering all my life choices. Now let's talk length and hardness. Of the session, of course. One whole hour of firm, unrelenting pressure that left me feeling like I had just wrestled a Greek god and lost gloriously. $75? A steal. I tipped extra--and honey, he earned the tip. The kind of tip that says, "Thank you for rearranging my spine and my outlook on life." 10/10. Would let Scott destroy me again. Ladies, if your muscles are tight and your brain is louder than your group chat--go see Scott. He'll shut them both up. Bring water. And maybe a cigarette.
