The place is small and you are asked to take your shoes off upon entering, but that means you were right in the doorway while trying to get your shoes off and balance putting on slippers that they leave at the door. There's only two seats in the waiting area. There was no tea or anything else out like I have seen in other pictures but I was offered a water. Elana was my massage therapist and she was fantastic. A couple of issues was that the treatment rooms are extremely small is very little room to maneuver. Also, they must have had satellite radio on so the radio station kept going in and out which made for very awkward moments of complete silence in the room and during that time, you could hear other patrons talking, music from the Pilates, studio next-door, and traffic on the road. After about 10 minutes, she did ask if I wanted her to go get her phone so she could put on music in which I said yes-it was very hard to concentrate every time the music went off. I thought $140 for a 90 minute massage was an excellent price and she was great, but I'm not sure if I would return due to them having no amenities and the outside noise issues.

I have a rheumatoid arthritis…read moreand several other conditions that cause it to be very difficult to move to do just your daily activities. The first year coming to Nancy it changed my life. I was able to become more active less pain. One thing she couldn't help me with was the extent of damage that I had in my cervical spine. April of 2025 I went in for surgery at the Brigham and Women's they ended up doing seven laminectomies in my cervical spine from C2 and then all the way down into my thoracic spine to t4. I now have rods and screws from C2 down to T4. I was in the rehab for 2 months and they didn't address my neck, my neck muscles or my neck pain from the surgery. When I got home once I was cleared I started coming back to Nancy and I now see her twice a week where she does infrared heat therapy Incorporated with other massage tools. The main issue I have now is the muscles because they had to cut through my muscles to do the surgery there are some days that my muscles just tighten up so severely that I can't pick my head up. But with coming to Nancy twice a week that doesn't happen as often as it did. I am now able to hold my head up which I could not before. The therapy I get with Nancy relaxes the muscles in my neck and in my back because of this I get up every morning I get washed and dressed and make breakfast myself and my husband and I go about my day where before most days I was in bed most of the day.
