For us, the true testament is seeing how excited our daughter is going to camp every day and picking her up to hear her say "It was awesome!". Her favorite activities are perler beads, water slide, cooking and jewelry making. She also loves performing in the end of camp play. The staff seem to be positive, engaging, caring, and foster a nurturing and experiential environment. Superkickers are quick to answer your questions and adjust their programming based on the needs of the community. For example, our oldest will be enrolling in their (newish) dual language program for the first time this summer. We were concerned that she would forget her Spanish studies over the course of the summer, which could impact her standing in her school's dual language program, but now we feel she will be able to remain fresh on Spanish. We love how all the activities engage the children mentally and physically, the field trip opportunities, and the friends they make. The intramural soccer league is such a great fit for young budding and enthusiastic players. Coach Stephanie and Coach Juan are warm and encouraging with the players while teaching them important skills and providing a great foundation for the young ones to learn how to play on a team. I love the way they coach -- it is age appropriate but treats them like soccer players and teammates. My son gets so much out of this program. Coach Stephanie clearly thinks through and plans out the practices and my son LOVES going to his games! Coach Juan is great with the kids.

They were excited to attend each day and couldn't wait to share details about their projects. They had tons of hands-on experience both in front of and behind the camera. It was wonderful to see them take on a range of responsibilities and exercise so much autonomy in creating their projects, while receiving technical and thematic guidance from the instructors to support their vision. They were incredibly proud of their final work, and our family loved viewing it (the films were hilarious and a little unhinged :)). In fact, they both came home asking to get the software programs they used so they can continue making films at home. During the week, their groups traveled to public parks, subways, beaches, and other open spaces to film their projects, which was a highlight for my kids. My 11-year-old rated the camp 4.9 out of 5 stars. Her only complaint was that she wished parents could receive the final project links a few days sooner, because it was "unbearable to wait until the next week."

Many playspaces are not accommodating at ALL when it comes to birthday parties and Happy Space seems so geniune in wanting whatever kind of vision you have to come to life. No food or drinks are allowed in the play area, but you can eat just right outside the play area. They have party packages, and do arts and crafts nights. You cannot wear shoes inside so bring socks for yourself and your kid. Will definitely be coming here again, my boy had a lot of fun.

At pick up time, she wanted to stay and continue learning. She loved the academics because they made it "so fun to learn" and she loved the creative art activities. The instructors in the class are kind and fun, the instructions for parents were super clear, the check in and check out processes are smooth and easy. I can make reservations for camp days online and They also have early drop off and extended pick ups available The projects they have done every day last week are interesting and engaging for the kids. I was scouting around for a reasonable, productive and small(er) summer camp. After hours of calling around to other local camps that were too expensive and full to capacity with waitlists, I came across Legacy on google and submitted a Registration form. I received a call from Mr. Edison who was very informative, professional and welcoming. He was also very interested in knowing my son's interests, personality and hobbies. The prices are VERY affordable for all financial budgets, they accept several different forms of payment including cash. Legacy has a fun, busy and educational summer camp but also continues to expand with other programs within the camp. They utilize the summer months and every hour to its fullest; 3 days out of the week were field trips, super hot days were "wet days" (park hopping with sprinklers), chuck E Cheese trips (board games, musical chairs, tablets and summer homework) on rainy and the list goes on. My son loves this camp. Since then his cousin and sister began attending as well when they were of age and they all love it and the Staff (Especially Ms. CeCe).
