It's tucked away in Glenwood square across from Xochimilco and the place is awesome! The spice selection is vast and the tea selection is magnificent! Heard of purple jasmine, dragonwell or peach oolong? You have now...and you can buy them! The bulk spices are plentiful and just plain phenomenal! This is one of the few places in the valley where you can find bulk spices and they've got plenty to keep you busy seasoning nearly anything you can think of. They'll even look to procure stuff you're looking for if they don't have it. The accoutrements were also quite nice! Lots of different salts, hot sauces, a boss cheese selection, soaps, holding vessels and serving items! Truly a diamond in the rough here. The honey latte (made with local honey ) was so good--smooth, not overly sweet, and perfect for someone like me who doesn't love that artificial sugar taste in coffee. Then we tried the Bourbon Views and WOW. Such a fun signature drink. You really get that bourbon flavor, but it's still super balanced--not overpowering, just really well done. Also, can we talk about the space? The interior has these really cool historical photos of the building, which made it feel meaningful and rooted--not just another trendy coffee shop. Seems like they really drive you to buy the expensive flavored stuff and don't like people trying to order the basics. I ordered their Yukon Joe and asked for it in my cup, which they were happy to do. Drink came out quickly. I could really taste the flavor of the bourbon roasted beans.
