There are so few real hot chocolate spots in Amsterdam, and the only other ones I know about are in the center, and in de pijp, so YAY for one being in my neighborhood! This is a small space, so I wouldn't try to go with a group of people, but to spend some quiet time with yourself or to meet a friend, it's the perfect spot. I think the prices are reasonable, and they have a nice selection of coffees, teas, and yes, even various hot chocolates. I got the pure, and it's super hot milk with foam on top and chocolate (real chocolate) on the bottom that you stir it up! It even came with a chocolate covered almond. Staff was friendly and was happy to explain anything you'd like. They even have a few baked goods. Today I saw carrot cake, cinnamon buns, and croissants. Nice find!
