Great class for both beginners and those with experience. My husband, (who let his previous CC permit lapse) took this class with Coffey a year before I did; he spoke highly of the instructor, so with his recommendation I signed up myself. I am fairly new at learning about guns and the laws surrounding them. The instructor was great at making the class a relaxed atmosphere, and used real world scenarios for explanations throughout the class. I feel more confident in my knowledge of gun laws after taking this course, and feel more confident in carrying my gun. What a great class no matter your level of expertise. I was an MP in the military as well as a Sniper on the installation SWAT team so I consider myself well versed in using handguns and I found the class extremely interesting, informative and even fun. Chad has a wealth of knowledge and makes a class that could be a bore fun to take. I have told everyone who is interested in obtaining their concealed permit to take this class if they want to not only be informed, but to have a good time doing so. Chad was very knowledgeable and worked with all of his students well no matter what their background was concerning firearms. His years of experience came through during this class. The class has something for everyone from the novice to the experienced shooter. his class is geared to truly teach his students about the carrying of concealed weapons and all of the responsibilities it entails. I went to Chad's training a couple of years ago, and have since recommended his class to many. A day long class includes time on a range, knowledge of your weapon, the law concerning concealed carry and use of your weapon. This was very informative, I learned a lot. My wife and I took this course from Chad Coffey about a year and a half ago. I had a conceiled carry permit in Virginia Beach before we moved here. This course was way better than the course in VA!
