In town for the Gyro festival, walking around and stopped in for a drink and a snack and damn glad I did. There's plenty of room inside and a few seats outside with some of the friendliest staff in all of north Idaho. Had a Bloody Mary that my bartender made just right as well as a few other beers. Also go the cooks take on a gyro that was absolutely amazing and my wife loved. I got the chili with chips and it was spot on! Great little snack when you're drinking. We needed up coming back later on with a new set of bartenders and they were just as friendly. Overall a super rad place with good food, drinks and staff.

Great food, drinks, service and atmosphere... and they were open serving food late! We will come here again for sure!

Walking around Wallace, trying to find a place for dinner shouldn't be this difficult. But, alas, Covid makes everything difficult and things usually shut down a bit earlier in a small place like Wallace. Fortunately, we walked in and found a large table away from a rather loud large group of tourists. Some of my choices were no longer available for the night, so brussel sprouts it is. We were pleasantly surprised at how well cooked and flavorful it was. Compliments to the chef! My pint of porter was a wonderful accompaniment. We finished the night with my first ever glass of Old Forester bourbon; OK flavor but I'll stick with my Buffalo Trace as my daily. Interesting decor with rather large can lights over the bar, no longer in use Humidor, and an antique pinball machine with no paddles. Great service and friendly staff to boot.

    Dog friendly!

One of the newest eating establishments in Wallace. Well worth trying, good food in a warm setting and of course, beer and mixed drinks!

In fact they're unlike most other businesses in Wallace and are open everyday until 2am. This is your typical no-frills dive bar with a pool table, a shuffleboard. Their wells and beers are $3 which are so cheap and amazing! I don't get complicated stuff at these dive bars so I stick to my whiskey cokes and shots of whiskey. They have happy hour from 4pm-6pm daily which is $1 off food and booze, so imagine your already-cheap $3 beers or wells becoming an astonishing $2. If you're coming here expecting a gourmet meal you should be looking elsewhere, because they have dive bar food which means frozen snacks. They actually have this cool contraption to deep fry stuff like tater tots or dumplings which apparently costs like $5k. The bartenders are all super friendly, especially Dave who I saw multiple days during my stay. I came here most days during my week stay in Wallace and this is one of the staples of the town. You'll meet very friendly people here who are always willing to strike up a random conversation.

The male was complaining about making drinks and even refused so the female volunteered to make our margaritas. He was not pleasant and obviously didn't want to be there.

This is true and there are multiple signs advising so, both prior to entering and just inside the door. What's the big deal you may ask. Aside from a brewey with no food being specifically for adults not being too far out, and for those who may want to avoid (or look for it), the mens room is adorned with full playboy spreads which could be controversial for junior. So, the environment & products are targeted to adults. The interior has mining decor and pinup decor, a bar top, pool table and a few tables with chairs. The beer we had was good for one and above average for the other. The wheat (with lemon wheel garnish) was a surprisingly tasty treat. It was out of the way for us but is right off the highway, so, convenient for a lot of people & the town itself is quirky. I did this area a while back visiting many breweries here but a few slipped through my fingers and this was one of them so it was good to get this one marked off my list. We had the Redlight Irish Red Ale which we liked quite bit. Irish Red Ales aren't necessarily a beer type the two of us flock to but this one was very good. Flavor highlights to look for when enjoying this beer is malty, sweet and dry. The beer is also very light bodied and smooth so that, at least to us is an enjoyable plus!

CLBP is just on the north side of 90 adjacent to the Wallace RV park. The inside is very comfortable and inviting. It was quite busy at noon on a Saturday afternoon so service was a little slow. No worries though especially since there was a crowd because of the ladies homesteading gathering being in town. Weird but I didn't go with a flight this time. I started with a pint of the Pulaski Porter while SWPFTD went with the Mountain Top amber. Both were quite tasty. I ordered the French dip sandwich which was fantastic. SWPFTD had the Reuben which was also very good. Yes, I ate part of her sandwich. I wrapped up with a pint of the milk stout on nitro and SWPFTD had the blood orange IPA. The IPA didn't work for me but I never love the blood Orange. The milk stout was really good though. CLBP is a great stop in Wallace!
