I have been going to this veterinary establishment for over 8 years after my Vet of 35 years…read moreretired. There is ONE receptionist who has been there since the prior owner who needs a total personality overall and has been unreasonable on many occasions. She is cold, not sociable and has made a havoc out if appointments for me and basic requests that have stressed me and put my animals health at risk multiple times. If you can't smile, can't remember the same clients (humans and animals) for the last eight years, don't interact with any of the clients in a compassionate or even helpful manner, and then are rigid on policies that don't reflect well on the practice, your in the wrong business. I'm only giving this place two stars now because I love Dr. KELLY, Dr Sholan did right by all my animals, and the back office staff was always nice. Its enough where I am looking elsewhere for a vet. I am updating my review again due to an excellent experience with surgery with my one dog with Dr. Pante, the owner, whom I had no interaction with before. The overall point of my review is to better the practice. I also want to clarify two things that were discussed in the one to one meeting that is not reflected above by the office manager's upload, approved by Dr. Pante. First, when someone is running less than 10 minures late with no other appointmens that day, did it even need to be bumped up to a Veterinarian in question at that point? The question was brought uo by dr.pante herself. The consequence was not just a missed appointment but my dog had a severely broken tooth and needed immediate antibiotics. It took me a week to get those. Second point, it was told to be by Dr. Pante that when there are discrepancies with records, incomplete records or questions on records, that they often would reach out to the other vet offices. That did not happen in this case. So, I DO agree the phone call was too short to make any immediate decision. Most clients are not unreasonable. If I could feel I was helped in any manner, it would have made all the difference, even just trying. The conclusion of that was i drove back to the clinic, physically picked up the script, and uploaded it to another online pharmacy. It honestly left me with the feeling that the hospital didn't care, especially since i told her i was sick myself (i distinctly remember the phone call while i was at CVS pharmacy picking up meds myself for an eye infection)... ...There is no way those records could have properly been reviewed, as those individual clinic record visits are pages long with very small fine print, as an information specialist myself. At that point, I felt it should have been bumped up to an office manager, vet tech or veterinarian for a proper review. My last point about the person in question is that as a former psychologist, personality is one of the most stable and unchanging characteristics of a person. A person doesn't go from uninterested to suddenly compassionate.I would also take a look on another review on another site which is very similar to mine yet it mentions an employee who worked under the prior vet is compassionate although their own experiences showed less than that. Just do better, is my point but personality aside, clients first and last stop is often at reception and it can overshadow good veterinarians and the rest of the helpful staff. Being helpful or at least trying is everything for the owners as pets lives are at stake here which is why I took it upon myself to get my dog immediate treatment in both circumstances when there obviously could be no resolution. There is also a relationship and trust that establishes with long time clients and medical practices. I don't like the feeling that when I walk in there after years of visits when i see the same faces, that it feels like my first time and there is 'no history', when there should be plenty of trust building and rapport that should naturally develop over time. Strange on many levels, as Vet practices should feel like second homes. I do in conclusion get the impression, that Dr. Pante is very hands on, has a lot of common sense and compassion herself, and that this will improve moving forward as she I can see strives for the best in her practice. This is why I have elevated my review.

Dr. Pante and her staff are wonderful. We travel a distance to see her and it's worth it every…read moretime. She is compassionate and honest, and has always given us the best guidance for our pets. Her approach is always reasonable. She makes it a point to truly know her clients, both owners and patients. The practice offers a very personal touch which we greatly appreciate. Our family trusts her implicitly with our pets, and we cannot more highly recommend Raintree.

One of the adults had been in another organization we all know and they were going to put this cute baby down for space I guess. Anyway Francesca took him in and he's been mine for all these years. i couldn't ask for a more lovable sweet cat. The kitten I adopted from her was found by someone on the side of the road. This person tried several shelters who said no. The kitten was in bad shape, starving, dehydrated and infected eyes but Francesca took him in. He got all the proper vet care but sadly he lost one eye and has impaired vision in the other. I donated to his care and fell in love so wound up adopting him. That was 9 years ago and he's a great cat who gets around fine. He plays with my other cats or annoys them lol and maneuvers the house just like a cat who could see. My third cat from her is a gorgeous long hair black beauty that somebody either didn't want or couldn't keep. He is another total mush who loves to be petted and loved. Fourth cat is from the SPCA about 11 years ago. She's a sweet long hair calico, my only female. I can't say anything bad or negative about All Fur Love and I donate food and funds to help them out. Every dime and can of food goes to the animals. It's probably one of the few most honest organizations out there and I used to work for the SPCA up north many years ago. Go to All Fur Love Facebook just to see what she's involved with now and tell me how many places would do what Francesca is doing.

First of all, they wouldn't even let me go in with her -- which was horrifying. My little girl has been by my side for 14 years; she's never been without me. To imagine her scared, not feeling well, and taken away from me like that just broke my heart. After giving her the medication she needed, they sat us down and presented an outrageous estimate -- over $10,000 just to keep her alive. Before we even went, I had spoken with my regular vet. He told me exactly what to ask for and what my dog needed. He also specifically advised me never to leave any of my dogs overnight at a hospital unless it was absolutely crucial. I trusted his judgment -- and I knew in my heart my girl would be okay with the right care. But the emergency clinic tried to guilt and scare us, saying that if we didn't leave her there, she would die. Shame on them. It's devastating to see what so many of these vet hospitals are becoming -- businesses more focused on money than compassion. They take advantage of pet owners when we're at our most vulnerable, knowing how deeply we love our animals, and then pressure us into debt with fear tactics. It's disgusting and heartbreaking to see. Our pets deserve genuine care -- not manipulation. And pet owners deserve honesty and compassion, not financial exploitation in our moments of panic and pain.

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. I had dropped my 11 mo Labrador off on Wednesday…read moreSept 22 and called Sept 24 to see how he was adjusting. I was told he's doing great and coming out of his shell as he was nervous when I dropped him off. I didn't hear from anyone until Tuesday October 5th (the day before pickup) when I received a voicemail from Mallory that she needed to speak with me. When I returned her call I was informed that my dog had a rash on his neck and wanted to tell me before picking him up the next day and it shouldn't be a "cause for concern." She stated that the day after he was dropped off, staff noticed a tiny itchy, dry spot on his neck that progressively got worse. She continued to repeat that they didn't want this to be a cause for concern and naturally concerned, I asked to be sent a picture of the rash. This was no rash at all. The picture I was sent showed my dog next to a trainer with a raw, oozing wound where his jaw meets the base of his neck. It looked very infected and he definitely needed medical treatment so I immediately went to the facility to pick him up. When I arrived, I did not find my dog in the same condition as shown in the picture I received just an hour earlier. His wound was dry and completely scabbed over. The staff stated the wound looked much better than before (because it was healing). I immediately took him to the vet for a thorough exam and our vet diagnosed a skin infection of the hair follicles caused by injury to the skin. He also estimated that the original picture I was sent earlier that day was taken at least a few days prior. The vet also estimated that this injury occurred at least a full week prior to the training staff notifying me. Not only did my dog have an infected injury on his neck, he also had an infected wound on his testicles, had lost a significant amount of weight, as well as developing upper respiratory infection. Prior to sending him to the facility he was a big overweight with a very thick coat. The dog I picked up had lost at least 10 lbs and his spine and hip bones can be felt to the touch. The picture I was sent from staff showed a very obvious infection and the staff neglected to care for my dog or notify me that he needed medical treatment and attempted to treat this wound themselves with only A&D ointment. When asked about the 24 hour veterinarian on call mentioned on the training facility website, the staff stated they do not have a veterinarian on call. A bit misleading. After examining the neck wound we noticed small bumps around the sides of the wound that seem consistent with a pronged collar. We don't know how these injuries occurred but it's very clear our dog was NOT properly cared for and the staff neglected to provide our dog with basic medical treatment or at the very least inform us that our dog needed to see a vet. I will NEVER recommend the Dan Gentile Training to anyone.

I'm writing now because we now have a new puppy and I was looking for training places and this place came up and brought up bad memories so I felt I needed to write our experience. We dropped our dog off and went on a trip so she could go through the program. Coming back to pick the dog up we couldn't wait to see our dog thinking she would be so excited to see us but to our surprise our dog was subdued and looked defeated. No tail wagging or anything. Before the trainer showed us what they did, she commented that if WE didn't follow directions we had to put $25 in this jar. We laughed it off as though she was kidding but to be honest I don't think she was. They walked us through what they did and the "progress" and mind you they had a spike collar on the dog so when you pull it digs right into their neck. The trainer was showing us and she pulled so hard my dog let out a painful yelp! It looked like torture to be honest. We immediately said we are done here and left ASAP! My dog eventually recovered and we found a dog trainer that used positive enforcements and she became her happy self again
