It was nice and quiet, until a group of three chatty women came in. I was ushered into a common room with dim lights, recliners and pillows. Good thing I brought my ear buds so I could listen to music on my phone: there was no background music playing. I had two people working on me. The manicurist wore a mask and used a bright lamp to work under. I noticed that the towel under my hand was stained with nail polish and had a hole in it: not a good impression *sigh* The person who did my foot spa and pedicure did a good job: foot soak, salt scrub, foot and lower leg massage and pedicure. I liked the color of my nails but the shape didn't look natural. One of the nail extensions wasn't completely connected (see pic), so my real nail tip was exposed and prone to having things getting stuck in the space in between. The extensions were suppose to last two weeks but they only lasted only one since I had to do laundry. They did look pretty in pictures, not close up though. One positive observation I have about acrylic polygel nail extensions is that they are strong and durable. They were also easy to remove myself, which saved me a trip to the salon. He has been raving about his salon since last year and my friends and I are so happy that it finally opened. It is on its soft opening right now, so they have discounts and promos for any customers coming in. They are currently giving out a 30% discount on all of their services, including haircuts. Unlike most salons out there, it has a very minimalist design. It doesn't have colorful bright lights and most of its interiors are made out of wood (which is actually a nice touch). Customer service has always been on point and they offer you drinks too. Renz has always been able to do a phenomenal job (9 months and my hair is still getting compliments) and the top Stylist JOF I heard is top notch. They might be on the higher end priced compared to the other local salons but I still Highly recommend, especially when I only color my hair once or twice a year. I have long thick hair and I paid less than $300 US dollars for the full service INCLUDING Keratin Treatment.

Kept me company with magazines and sweet conversations. Offered me green tea, coffee or tea but I had my beverage with beforehand. They have their own restroom as well.
