The place was tidy fir being fairly busy. It is cat friendly and a few house cats who may be their security system..lol The showers, although old with peeling paint, were very clean. The $4 for an 8 minute shower gave me plenty of time to shower..including the 2-3 minutes for the water to get warm. Be cautious, especially for kids & elders as the water did get very hot .

The dryers are $.25 for 5 minutes, and I was able to dry my bedspread for $1.50. Parking is good, I'll definitely use them the next time I need a laundromat!

I knew that she was very expensive in the past and I went here only because my normal place in Salem was too far. I could not go there for just a couple quick thin sweaters. I normally make one trip there in the summer for everything. When I went in there two weeks ago, she told me that my very thin sweaters not thick sweaters would be around $8.35 a piece. I wrote that down on my receipt when I left so that I knew. I knew she was still expensive for these thin sweaters, but I was willing to pay at this one time. Unfortunately, when there's only one dry cleaners in the area they can do whatever they want. When I went back there this Wednesday, she tried to tell me that my price was $35.85. I was shocked!! I couldn't even believe that that's what I heard and I told her no that's not what you told me and I said look at my receipt. This is what you told me and I looked her in the eye. She continued to argue. She did not want to refund me. She kept arguing with me and then eventually said well I'll give you a $10 credit. How about that? And I said no I don't ever want to come back here again. After I told her I would report this to Visa and that I would dispute it because I knew this was wrong . She then refunded me and voided the sale and charged me the normal price. I have never had anyone try to do this. It is a smooth, gypsy move that I have never experienced. Telling someone, one price then doing a full switch and bait!! I'm imagining she does this to people all the time and catches them off guard. Most people are embarrassed and don't want to say anything. On top of this imagine paying almost $12 for a thin ladies sweater. I have all types of sweaters I have thin, medium and thick. This is about $7.50 in Salem, maybe closer to $8.00 in McMinville. Please do not go here find somewhere else there are other dry cleaners in McMinville and in Salem I drive in order not to be completely ripped off. I can still save money even with the gas. My partner used his credit card in a different machine and he was charged $0.50 more than the listed price without adding any "extras" (e.g. no extra rinse, no heavy duty, etc.) and the machine still wouldn't work until I added a physical quarter into the machine. We ended up spending twice as much to wash our laundry here than we should have. Please fix your machines - I'm glad we could afford it, but some people can't afford to pay this much.

This business is for sale however it's still operatable so today I'm using it and so far so good.
