Michael and Tamara were always so kind, welcoming, and professional. Every visit ran smoothly. Dr. Veszelovszky was always on time, and I never had to wait. I would sign in and be taken back immediately. This is exactly how a medical office should operate from start to finish. Since getting out of the military, I have had chronic pains because of my multiple deployments. I have tried to lead an active lifestyle through yoga, calisthenics, and aerobic exercise. However, I couldn't do it consistently because of the pain. I was referred to Dr. Adam Colavito, DC's office, b/c my regular chiropractor was out of town, and in my experience, many other chiropractors lack the touch. Since meeting Dr. Colavito and his team (Dr. Veszelovsky, Tamy, Mike, Jessica, and Taylor), my regimen has consisted of regular adjustments w/ massages, and I'm able to run and attend my yoga sessions regularly again. The office has a family feel b/c the team makes every effort to learn your name and preferences to ensure that your experience is professional, friendly, and that you're in and out without delay. Colavito Chiropractic is a well-run professional practice with uber nice and--more importantly--happy employees. I always know I'm in the right place when the people working there are happy. I am middle-aged; I have suffered from chronic, excruciating low-back, hip, piriformis, neck and shoulder pain for years, but had given up on chiropractic care because the previous four chiropractors in Miami were unable to give me any relief, correct or keep my back in check, so I moved on. I have been to two neurologists, an orthopedic and also discussed this with my previous PCP who happens to be an amazing DO, their consensus was an ambiguous diagnosis of "piriformis syndrome" with a script for muscle relaxers. So to mitigate the pain, I've had massages for years with short-lived relief. Simple things like standing and cooking or doing dishes while leaning forward had become increasing more painful, thus making me a very irritable person (no fun). I would take breaks, go lie down before I could resume my Cinderella duties. If I walked to my neighbor's house at night to deliver brownies and we stood outside and talked, I was in pain and looking for somewhere to stretch or sit down after 5-10 min. Getting in and out of the car, sitting or standing or walking for long periods was painful--you get the picture. Finally, I could take the pain no longer, asked around, a good friend recommended Adam Colavito as the best chiropractor he's ever been to. I did my research and made an appointment. Dr. Colavito has seen/treated/adjusted me maybe five or six times and today as I write this review I have had zero pain for the last week. FYI, the four previous chiropractors I saw in my 30s and 40s who came highly recommended by friends and attorneys, they weren't bad (okay, one was bad) but another was okay and the last one pretty good, none can hold a candle to this guy, he is the best!!! I am nothing less than ECSTATIC to have found Dr. Colavito. He is, in my opinion, an experienced, knowledgeable and truly outstanding chiropractor who cares, listens, sees what's wrong and fixes it. And if you're worried about neck adjustments, don't. He should train other chiropractors on how to manipulate and adjust the neck. Bottom line, he is truly remarkable!! read more
