I met with Sara Kline (one in person consultation and the rest via phone, as I live out of state), who went over all the various services Parsonage offered and showed me a ton of pictures from her portfolio. From the beginning, she was always willing to listen to what I wanted, what our budget was (this was a deal breaker with some of the other florists, who would quote things out of our budget or change the flowers so drastically that it wasn't even close to what I wanted), flexible when I decided to change things, and had lots of great suggestions to make things work best. Our flowers turned out great - I was so worried that our arrangements would look too small (I wasn't into the whole tall centerpiece thing), but they were perfect. We got so many compliments on the simplicity but yet modern style we chose for our flowers. Sara also suggested tying our gold theme into the flowers by using gold glitter in the water. We ended up getting a mix of white hydrangeas, blush peonies, blush ranunculus, and assorted pink stock. Parsonage also provided all the candles and vases - we were doing a gold theme, so I really wanted gold Mercury glass, which they had no shortage of! We booked our linens too, since we got a 10% discount for doing it all together. We had no issues with the delivery out to Ann Arbor and pickup was just the same.
