We found a beautiful specimen, bought it and contracted to Telly's to plant it. This was in September of 2025. Now seven months later, the specimen is dead. We took pictures to the store and I spoke to the person who sold me the tree originally. He told me he needed to consult an "expert". I was introduced to another man who looked at my pictures and fairly immediately diagnosed that there was something wrong with our soil and that is what killed the tree. He indicated that their warranty did not cover disease. He showed me the treatment for the soil and explained how to do it. We spent $90 on this treatment. After consulting with our landscaper, there were several things that were suggested, but here's the most important one. The tree dying so quickly would suggest that the disease may have been in the potted plant's soil WHEN it was planted. The landscaper found it unusual that if the disease were newly introduced to the plant from our soil that it would have died so quickly. At any rate, we will never buy another specimen tree like this from Telly's. This experience really felt like a "setup" between the two employees. We had to speak to the guy who knows how to "sell" this whole soil disease excuse. As consumers, we were in no position to argue. We'd suggest that you be very careful buying an expensive specimen from Telly's and risking having your money go up in smoke in just a few months time!

I couldn't find the item I was looking for, and three different employees all offered to help me, but couldn't find the item either. When they had exhausted all of the places it could be, the store manager agreed to give me the next expensive compressor for the price of the one I came in for. The staff was helpful, considerate and kind. And they did t stop there, they even offered to - and did, air up my flat tire for me so I could get home safely before needing to use the compressor I was buying. I would recommend them again and again.

It reminded me of Bronners Christmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth but on a smaller scale. A separate area next to the main shop had lots of Christmas trees and an area for children to meet Santa Clause with proper social distancing and a barrier in place. I recommend visiting Sherwood Forest during Christmas if you are looking for holiday decorations.

What's THAT place?! It was a big white colonial style building and it was pretty. What else would a good friend do? She turned the car around. She said she would probably pay $5 more by going here, but she wanted me to see it. We pulled into the massive parking lot and drove to the corner where a little bird was taking a bath in a puddle. We got out and the bird was completely unphased. This was his safe place. A floral mecca if you will. We walked past statues and fountains to reach the entrance. There were large carts, baby carts, and wheelchairs available at the entrance. I wandered in and encountered sticker shock. Amy wasn't kidding. Everything was about double what you would find everywhere else. There were quite a few half off sales though, bringing it down to a normal price. Here's the thing though- it's like the difference between a Gucci watch and a Timex. Both are going to do the job, but the Gucci is just more elegant. These plants were lush. They were diverse too. And this place was mammoth. I did not make it through the entire store. It vascillated between indoors and outdoors and stretched back to parts unknown, at least by me. Luckily I found a place to sit so I didn't need to grab a wheelchair. A bunch of patio tables and benches were stationed at the front next to the firewood. I enjoyed the breeze while Amy stood in line. She was right. She paid more. The young guy who rang her up asked if she would like a bag for each one. We missed over that since the bags were smaller than the tomato cages. She said no. We jaunted to the car, loaded up the trunk and much to our dismay our little bathing bird was gone.

Closing at 7 makes them almost impossible to go to after work. Such a stupid time to close.read more

There is so much to choose from during Thanksgiving and Christmas, and lots of it is marked 50% off or more after the holidays. Besides holiday décor, I found several really cute planters on my last visit. The pink and white face planter only cost $7.99. I've seen face planters at garden nurseries for as much as $50, so this was a good deal. The green "plant lover" planter was only $2.99. This is a good place to shop for anyone looking for inexpensive holiday and year-round decorations for one's office, cubicle, classroom, or home. There is also a section with generic brand snacks and cleaning products.

With a quick customer service phone call and a "Please Hold This Item" for Me, I was cruising in route for a 15 minute drive to pick up my "Automatic Wine Opener". Photo attached of course, and I love it since it's sooo easy to use and looks so classic and modern on the counter next to my wine bottles! :-) This Bed Bath & Beyond store is very organized and has many clerks working throughout the store as well for fast check out. The staff are friendly and very helpful when on a mission like Me, "Need for Speed" with shopping. (I can run 6-8 errands in 2 hours.) Like other locations: Bed Bath & Beyond is what the name is. Many items sold here are for Bed, Bath and Beyond items for housewares, to organization, kitchen, home furnishings, pet supplies just to name a few of their main items of merchandise. Sign up for emails and those 20% coupons in the mail either weekly or monthly for helpful and cost savings. They will also always accept expired coupons as well to help with a discount. Bed Bath & Beyond also owns Christmas Tree Shops, Cost Plus, and Buy Buy Baby stores. I don't come here often, but when I do, it's usually for something specific. Over the years I've scored some good deals and bought some nice stuff for my place and kitchen. While they are known for their 20% off coupons, I don't always use them for what I'm purchasing. The staff here is reasonably helpful, and the product selection is fabulous. They sell *really* nice stuff, from Simple Human, to fancy coffee makers and tons of linens. While their linen and comforter selection is fabulous, their prices are a bit high for me even though they carry top notch stuff. Do I need a $300 dollar comforter for the cat to puke a hairball on? No, no I don't. I am more of a JC Penny $100 comforter set lady that's machine washable for that reason alone. They have good sales here and have expanded their selection of items to also include makeup, shampoos and other products over the years. I recently did a purchase of a small ticket item and chose to do curbside for pickup. It was ready within an hour and I picked it up later curbside. It was out in 5 minutes! I was impressed.
