The ice cream tasted ok but the waffle cones weren't sized to the cups they were meant for. They barely held any ice cream. I ended up dumping everything into another bowl. Ordered online and was told to wait 20-25 mins to pick up order. When I arrived the employee claimed she never got the order. Took another 20 minutes before I had the order in hand. One person working in the store so I can assume orders piled up - no big deal, except that she wouldn't take the screen shots of the order details, confirmation #, and estimated pickup time as proof of order and payment. I sent my daughters in the grab some ice cream. My daughter accidentally ordered birthday cake instead of cake batter. Easy mistake. When she asked them about the brownies they were adding, the rude associate said you said birthday cake. My daughter replied that she was sorry and she meant cake batter. The two African American associates (one older and one younger) started whispering and making remarks. My daughters just walked out. One of the associates says, now they're leaving. The customer service definitely wasn't as expected. The rudeness wasn't necessary. It could have easily been remade and they could have raked crap after they left. Had a custom cake made here. First off the owner didn't get back to me until I called multiple times. The owner up charged me by claiming it had to be done on the largest cake they had. The picture was not even centered. The owner claimed to put sprinkles all over the side in our phone conversation. Yet when I received the product there were no sprinkles and it was placed in a container 3x it's size so it slide around. Also it was supposed to be Oreo icecream yet it was mainly vanilla. Thankfully it was for a 3 year olds party. Will not return ever again for a cake. Not only that but the owner freaked me out by creeping up to me in the parking lot in his personal pickup truck asking me how I liked the cake. I think he spy's on his employees. Please do not come here and support this terrible franchise owner. They charge ridiculously high prices and then they make sure to give you the smallest amount of ice cream. DO NOT order from a food delivery service, they will send you whatever they want instead of what you ordered and they won't even fill the container up half way. They might give you 90% topping or 1% topping. It really is ashame because it is the most delicious ice cream around here - but I just can't recommend ANYONE go there because of ratched owner and lazy employees. If you do go, make sure you get a taster - a lot of the time they'll just use chocolate ice cream to flavor the coffee ice cream or just add food coloring instead of flavoring to the ice cream. My husband and I went to the Cold Stones in Dover only to use up a door dash balance and did not want to pay a delivery service fee. I did not realize that my order did not complete until I arrived at the store. I sat down and finished it and got in line. There was a young lady who said she did not see my name. I thought my order number and receipt on my phone should have been enough. She treated me like I was a criminal trying to steal bad ice cream. And bad ice cream it was. I went into the store at 1140am and I did not read the board but the sign said open! I ring the bell and the same rude guy I had encountered the week before came out and I asked for a pint and he grabbed the pint ready to serve me, when I asked that he wear gloves he told me to leave and that they did open until 12. I asked him if it was because I asked him to wear gloves and he became very rude and raised his voice at me. I told him to turn off his open sign and left the store. After moving here, I despaired of tasting their heavenly ice cream again (Maryland's Eastern Shore is severely lacking in food options of any kind), and then I discovered this little trailer in the outlets parking lot! The Birthday Cake Remix is ice cream perfection, I've rarely tasted anything so good!! The service is also fantastic, a lovely British lady who is so friendly and obliging! My boyfriend and I went here for a small date and to say it was ridiculous is an understatement. The girl working the counter was super rude and had a terrible attitude. She rolled her eyes when both of us wanted to sample a flavor each, after she scooped the ice cream she walks away without saying a word, she was like "you pay here" after doing something by the register. If I could leave no stars I would! Now, one of the workers was the sweetest girl ever. The other, however, had a horrible attitude the entire time. They have four advertisements stating they take apple pay, however when I tried to pay with apple pay it did not work. The workers called the owner he rudely said that apple pay has never worked. I hate giving bad reviews, but this Cold Stone severely disappointed me. Unfortunately, I have a dairy allergy and can only eat the sorbet. I have been calling for a month if they have changed the flavor from the pasty lemon sorbet that leaves a horrid aftertaste. Many of the girls that work there are very kind and apologetic for the lack of concern the store seems to have. One girl that works there is extremely rude and is giving me this bold face lie that no one likes the other flavors she's made except the lemon, but the other girls seem to disagree with that. No one seems to be eating that gross lemon and it sits in the same mold day after day. I have called the corporate office and no changes seem to be made. I will travel the distance to other companies that frequently change their flavors or have a variety. Hopefully, competition comes soon. read more

Worst experience!!, not only will I not being back but I'll be making a recommendation for others not to as well. The employee was very rude, unprofessional, and Ill tempered. My experience started with no greeting after I said hi just what do you want. I ask about the signs since many of the flavors were mislabeled. She ignored me and scoped a sample of one random ice cream flavor that I pointed to in disbelief. I then ordered what i wanted and after she asked for the size. She rung me up and i presented two punch cards one that had 6 holes and another that had 2. She rolled her eyes and punched the card. I told her I wanted to use them together to get a free ice cream she told me it's not free and then rung me up for $1.30. Her attitude only got worse. I have her my card and then she swiped it, and then pretty much threw the card back at me and walked away. I didn't get a recipe and then she walked away. I asked for a pen and then she rolled her eyes once again and her demeanor contained to worsen. She told me I don't need a pen and it doesn't need to be signed. Rolling her eyes she lifts up the cash register with irritability to find a pen. She rolls it over the counter and walks away paying no more attention to me. I credit slip, and headed out. Love the ice cream here. They are a bit pricey however and they tend to try to skimp on the toppings.
