We waited 15 minutes while we watched the staff chatting with what I assume is the owner. Lunch typically means your patrons have limited time to dine. No acknowledgment of our wait. They finally came over after I ask if we needed to come to the counter to order. Not a great first impression. Way too expensive for the market. $7.50 for a regular sized latte. $21 for a hamburger with breakfast potatoes which were poorly cooked. Chicken salad sandwich was lacking moisture. Rye bread and salad were good. Not good enough to make me want to come back. Our lunch bill was $53. Take two because why not give a local business A 2nd chance. I honestly don't have the energy to tell you not to go here. Disappointment filled the experience. I made a reservation. Walked to the counter in the back since it's seat yourself. After the owner who did not acknowledge us, snapped at the employee who then provided directions to our table. Resulting in another rude interaction with her boss telling her to take us to the table. Service was terrible not because staff is not capable but IMHO they are not provided training or support. Who serves a breakfast sandwich on an untoasted English muffins? Not crunchy craggy spots to capture the egg yolk to provide a sound, smell and feel experience when eating. Pricing and consistency was all over the place. My latte was only $5 this trip.... And my friends looked like a different type of coffee (she ordered the same thing). Also. Sandwich is not spelled with a "t" unless of course it's made by a coven with spells cast for diner's enjoyment. They need to decide if they are a seat yourself coffee shop where you order from the counter. Or a sit down order from a menu and be greeted restaurant. You can't be both. We were ask if we wanted to dessert and told to go take a look in the case for the bakery items. I'm sad that I don't like this local spot. I usually love local.

Let's do a star rating on this one: 2 Stars for a smallish selection of baked goods at 10:30 am. 3 Stars for the Snickerdoodle cookie I got, 1 Star for the prices. $2.50 for a cookie? I had a response right away and they were able to make me a cake by the end of the week like I needed. I requested a Coca-Cola cake for my partner's birthday. The folks at CFHS sent messages about what I wanted in it and made sure we were on the same page about the cake. It was a two tier cake for around $20. I cannot remember the exact amount because I did not get a receipt and I added cupcakes to the order when I picked it up. They also wrote "Happy Birthday Tyler" in icing on it as well. The cake was delicious and a huge hit with my partner. The cake was moist without tasting undercooked and the icing was a chocolate dream. We couldn't have just one piece each. The variety of cupcakes I picked up were also very tasty, they were vanilla, pumpkin, maple, and chocolate peanut butter. The cupcakes are first come first serve and definitely worth stopping by for if you don't want to buy a whole cake. If you want a simple, tasty cake made locally with love then check out this place.

Plus, it was a mile and a half from my hotel. Pulling in, this is one of the nicer locations I've been to. It has plenty of pumps, which I love and it's easy to get in and out of. Plus, it's easily visible from the road and about a quarter mile off the expressway if you're just passing through Findlay. The price of gas here's competitive, so that makes it worth filling up. If you have a Speedway card like I do, swipe it at the register or the pump and it usually takes a few cents off the price of gas. Staff here's friendly and efficient, and I never had a problem finding anything I needed when inside the store. Bathrooms are clean, well stocked and easy to locate. Store's clean as well, and there's plenty of staff here working to keep the line moving. Overall, a great experience here, and I would recommend stopping in when you get the chance.

You can always walk from the river 1 mile south and Speedway will be the first property with icy walks. As a neighbor, I'm sick of it. In the summer, they don't pickup litter or cut the grass and weeds. Speedway's parent company also owns two adjoining properties with vacant unmaintained houses at 1401 S. Main and 115 E. McPherson.

We stopped here because the competition up the road pulled a fast one on my gas app and reported their ppg as 10 cents below what it really was. I came back to this station and gave them a whole bunch of business. This sweet woman, maybe Katherine, gave me a few tips on sales this week and rewards. That woman saved the six of us a total of $50. Including $$$ off our petro for two vehicles. She also signed up five new rewards members that day. SCORE! The lot is huge.
