If you've ever watched the show Unwrapped, you may have seen an episode that featured a business where you could get different types of candies and treats smooshed into ice cream. Not Cold Stone, but a different company from back in the early 2000s. Nate and I were watching this very episode when I learned he'd never been to Cold Stone! I don't know how, because he loves his ice cream. I'm more of a savory snack type person but I knew he'd love it, so we stopped in to get some ice cream. Even though it was the depths of winter, I really wanted him to experience this place. Because you can create your own mix of whatever your heart desires, it can be a little overwhelming at first. Thankfully they have a menu of their own signature creations that can help with decision making. I got the cheesecake fantasy: cheesecake ice cream with graham cracker pie crust, blueberries, and strawberries mixed in. You can get your ice cream in a cup, cone, or waffle bowl, but I just went with a cup. Nate went for the mint mint chocolate chocolate chip: mint ice cream with chocolate chips, brownie, and fudge mixed in. We both got the "like it" (small) size but my scoop looked much bigger than his, unfortunately. You can also get a pint, quart, or triple pint to take home if there's a flavor you really love. Both choices were delicious, although I actually preferred the mint chocolate chip with the fudge and brownies. The fruit in mine was frozen, which makes sense, I just didn't love that texture. I would go back again and try a different creation. The employees working were all kind and polite, although it was a little chaotic with no clear waiting lines. When you go to pay, there's no designated area, they just have you sign your credit card slip on top of the ice cream counter glass which can be a little tricky if you're wrangling multiple orders. Mud pie creation (coffee ice cream, fudge, brownie, almonds, peanut butter) Cold Stone after a movie always hits different. The ice cream tasted more like salted caramel but it was still soooo good with all the mix ins. We actually ordered it with Oreo bits instead of almonds but they got that part mixed up. I think it might've made it better tho. read more

Normally this location is fine but today we ordered online and they made a mistake on the order 2x (the third time it was not the right size but the whole ordeal lasted over 20 minutes of realizing it was wrong and trying to get attention when it was very busy) so we just left it (to be fair we did have 4 items with 2 having customized elements and they were very busy...). They were willing to redo the ice cream whenever we made a comment with the receipt but at the end my husband said he didn't even want it anymore... so it ended up being a bummer. Ice cream is yummy overall though, just would recommend not ordering multiple things (or 1-2 modifications) when doing so online. I'll only be ordering in person from now on. read more

A nice treat during the lockdown! While expensive everyone enjoyed their personal creation and we got a big creation for later. I would suggest getting the medium as for the .70 cents difference you get a lot more! For two medium and one small personal cups and an ours size it cost $35. read more

Service is extremely slow. There were 4 employees working and only one waiting on customers. The workers were eating ice cream in the line while we were waiting. It seems like if you want to get ice cream here order it online. You will likely be ignored otherwise. Would give a zero if I could. read more

To start off it is very clear the woman they had working tonight were new so that's not even the problem. The problem was the attitude of one of their workers who never apologized for the fact we were there for 45 mins but instead decided to laugh at me as i was paying as if the whole time i was there she wasn't chomping her gum with her rude attitude. clearly isn't in the right field because she has no customer service whatsoever..i heard her telling her boss or whoever to close early and moved so slow and even left the line to go do whatever and no one took my order for the 10 mins that she was gone. To sum this up the attitude was horrible and then she tried to act like i had an attitude. mumbling and cackling at me even though i said nothing. I usually love coldstone and these workers made the experience so bad..won't be going here again unless they can step up their customer service. If this weren't the only Cold Stone in the area I would never go. I've ordered on the app a couple times and never is my order done when it says it will be. You still have to wait in line and wait for them to make it. So much for convenient ordering ahead. It was also made wrong the last two times. This order said it was done and picked up. So I went and asked if it was ready. It wasn't, even though it was past the time the app said it would be ready by 10 minutes. So I had to wait in line for it to be made. When making it up she didn't cut up the mix ins so it was largely plain ice cream with a few spots of huge cookie and brownie chunks. Finally, she forgot to put it in the waffle bowl and when I asked about it instead of putting it in the waffle bowl she just stuck the waffle bowl in another container and stacked the bowl with the ice cream on top of it breaking the waffle bowl. ‍ I don't know why I tip. Again, if there were another Cold Stone option I would not use this location. For sure done with the mobile ordering. read more

Was incredibly disappointed by this place. On the evening of December 30th, my husband and I had a light dinner so we could order dessert to our hotel and enjoy it with a movie so we ordered Coldstone off of Uber Eats. The order was accepted and then a minute or two later I got a notification that our order had been cancelled. Being that they were still open and we couldn't figure out why the order was canceled, we called to inquire. The young lady who answered was incredibly passive when we asked why the order was cancelled and if there was something else we could order (if they were sold out of what we asked for). She said they were too busy and they didn't want to take the order. My husband and I are both business owners and were shocked by her response so I asked her to clarify that she was really cancelling the order because she didn't want to work and she replied, "I don't know what to tell you. We're too busy, I'm sorry." If you value customer service at all, I would go to one of the other numerous ice cream stores available in the area that would be happy to take your money. I'd hate to see what would happen with the orders she was making, or heaven forbid someone asked her to correct her mistakes. read more

This location is attached to Celebration Cinema North and gets a lot of movie traffic. I went in right before a movie and thought it would be a quick trip, but it wasn't. The line wasn't super long, but the two staff members were very slow that the entire trip took awhile. They did make up for it by upgrading me to a bigger ice cream. I recommend getting the sweet cream with cookie dough but ask for the smallest size as it's very rich. read more

MASK NAZI: My wife and I were about to order from a young lady who had been pleasant helping us pick out a flavor when out of no where another female employee tells my wife "pull your mask over your nose" in a pretty disrespectful tone. My wife's mask wasn't even that far down her nose. I turned to my wife and said "let's go." And we left and got ice cream at FROSTY BOY instead. This Cold Stone was my 1st. Where my love was born. But there have been many since....what can I say? I struggle with Cold Stone monogamy. In my defense I did spend some years on the west coast so I had to get my fix somehow! Trying to find parking at this location can be a pain but once you take your 1st bite you will forget about the parking. I think this is the location where I have also experienced the most singing by the workers. Not sure how I feel about the singing, it can be annoying in a small space but the concept is interesting. I stopped in here with my sis and my niece. I had a like it size (small) and they each had a love it (med). I only get bigger than a like it if I know I will be going home so I can freeze some for later. Even the small is quite filling! I love all of the different options they have and that you can make anything you want with their toppings. You can taste any flavors you want and if you can't decide what mix-ins you would like they have a ton of selections with names that make you smile before you even taste them. If you are in the area and like ice cream be sure to stop in and leave a tip so you hear a song! =] read more

These dolts can't even mix simple colors correctly! Asked for a red cake and they gave us a pink cake! Was too late to wait around for them to make another so they gave us a 50% discount. Next month we order a pink cake for my niece and they give us a white cake with pink icing. I don't know how these people keep their job. It says on their website that they open at 11am and on yelp and google, i drove 10 miles in rain just to get their ice cream only to find out they were closed. They had a sign saying they open at 12 instead of 11. When i called them and told them about their store opening hours on their webiste they rudely said " oh i dont have access to the website so i cant change it" . So i drove 10 miles for nothing and they didnt have the courtesy to apologise!!! Never going there again!! read more

My first job was at a cold stone, and the fact that I still come back should speak volumes. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the wait time, well guess what? It's more complicated than just scooping ice cream. God forbid someone wants a snickers bar in their ice cream, it will take legit 10 mins to smash that sucker and your arms will be sore for days. AND you have to sing for people while trying to remember and create their perfect ice cream order! It's a tough job, especially when it gets busy, and when you're a teenager! Have a little sympathy, people. The ice cream is amazing, still the best I've ever had 14 years after working there. Stopped in while touring houses and couldn't be more excited to have our offer accepted near a cold stone. I WILL wait for my banana ice cream with heath, brownie, hot fudge, and whipped cream as long as I need to. Negative reviews for a chain ice cream store? Pfft. Ok, Karen. read more
