I don't usually write reviews but, I had another run in with the owner - women... she is so very rude. I walked in and no one was in the store walked RIGHT past her at the register to the line and nothing....no hi, welcome, NOTHING- I stood back where you order and she yelled at someone in the back you have a customer... the portions are horrible anymore and charges for everything... this is the 2nd time I have been in when she was there.. the first was just the same... she didnt speak had a grumpy look on her face and had to make the ice cream herself... obviously not happy to be there- I am done going and a very good long time customer my husband and I... We arrived late in the evening, the staff was friendly & attentive. The selection of cups/ cones/ & ice cream was plentiful. The portions were a good value. The location was clean & well lit. It had some indoor & outdoor seating for guests not on the move. The temperature was comfortable & the store had a modern look/ feel. read more

When we arrived there wasn't a line. My husband ordered the cookie dough with cookie dough in it. The employee had no problem scooping it up as it was firm. I ordered banana flavor. The other employee was having a hard time because this was much softer and gooey. I got fudge put on mine. We paid and sat down. Dirty tables everywhere. The first thing I noticed was that my husband and I got the same size but his had at least 15-20% more in his cup. Mine looked pretty soft, like it was melted and it wasn't because of the fudge. We started eating and my first thought was, this does not taste like banana at all. It tasted like it melted the moment I put it in my mouth. My husband's ice cream was still very firm. I finished mine while my husband still had about 25% left. He asked if I wanted some, I said sure. I took a bite and was shocked! His was banana! I asked if he noticed and he said no. I tried it again and all i tasted was banana. Then I thought no wonder mine didn't taste like banana because they have their container in the wrong place. I got up to let them know but now there was a line with about a dozen people. I couldn't get the 2 employees attention to let them know they need to check it. The service was pretty good. Staff was friendly and polite. However, the ice cream is practically melted. You can see the ocean sweating in the freezer. To spend $15 on melted ice cream, is ridiculous. I've been to many cold stone's, and this is the first one to sell me a scoop of melted ice-cream. I got mine in a cone, which was a mistake. I had to rush home because it was dripping down my whole arm. Once I got home, I put it in a bowl to eat it. read more

I've never gone out of my way to write a negative review of a place before. However, I just find myself pretty frustrated after my last experience today at this cold stone. Ice cream is up to six dollars for a small which is a bit much but i understand that, I also understand that a small should be one scoop or at least fill the small container. However I visited this cold stone today and ordered two small ice cream's. Unfortunately, the person who made mine chose to scoop the melted ice cream at the top of the bucket and use so little it did not even fill the small container and was melted completely liquid before I could even pay for it. My wife's thankfully was made by a different person and she got a normal size ice cream for hers...how it should be. When questioned politely the person who gave me the small cup defended it and shrugged me off. Just felt like poor customer service and left a bad taste in my mouth. you couldn't even read happy birthday on the cake it was so bad the icing was so thin it barely covered the cake: the actual cake on the inside was stale and almost grainy. when asked if what we ordered for mix ins was actually what was in there the worker said, "ummm should be" when they brought the cake out it kept hitting the sides of the box. while she was walking out with it. when they called me to tell me my cake was ready it was 2 days prior to even when it was supposed to be done. the taste was terrible, the service was terrible everyone seemed confused and lacked any care for their jobs: for the price we thought it would be better than Dairy Queen cakes but turns out that was not the case. read more

I have gone to Cold Stone Creamery three times and every time I am very happy I did! Each time I have ordered something different and I continue to be surprised with every selection! The ice cream is made on premises and there are many flavors from which to choose. If you are unsure which one you want you can have tastes of the different flavors. My favorite is Cake Batter and it DOES taste like white cake batter! After selecting a flavor, one can choose many things to add into your ice cream (if you so choose.) The ice cream is kept cold on a marble slab while it is mixed with the choices of fruit, nuts, sweets and syrups. After it is mixed the delicious concoction can be put in a regular bowl, a waffle bowl or a cone - and these are NO regular waffle bowls or cones! They are dipped in chocolate and can have sprinkles or cookie crumbs - SO MANY CHOICES! Should you choose to get a treat to take home, the freezer at the front of the store has ice cream cupcakes, prepackaged Cold Stone favorites (like Cake Batter Batter) and ice cream cakes. Seating is inside and outside (weather permitting) and tipping is recommended. You will be serenaded by a Cold Stone original tipping-tune when you do! The enthusiasm is wonderful and the people working there are just as great as the ice cream, and I don't know any of the employees personally! I recommend this to everyone! read more

Great service and selection. Good prices. The girls worked quickly. The place was clean.

I've never had much of a sweet tooth, but when it kicked into high gear about two months ago I've been looking for ways to find a fix, look no further than Cold Stone! This location in particular has a great staff and is always clean and welcoming. Flavor choices are just about limitless between their creations or making up something on your own! The only thing missing from the location would be some outdoor seating for the summertime, but there are a few cement round picnic tables a few businesses over to utilize. read more

The store was ran by a staff of young teenagers who were rude and had poor customer service. I won't be returning

I've been a couple of times now since I moved to Great Falls and I've always been treated well and been given great service. Ice cream is pretty good. I like the apple pie alacoldstone. The only think I could say that negative is the need more staff in the summer. I work in Marketplace and they always have a line out the door at night and only have one person working. read more

The staff was great, but with only two ladies working one on call in orders and the other waiting the counter and preparing orders for those in the store it was a challenge,wait time was very slow. With that being said I ordered a milk shake it had to be the worse I have ever had. I could have walked across the parking lot to Smith's supermarket and bought a carton of Chocolate milk that would have been thicker than the shake at a forth of the price. Lesson learned. I really love this place and they have my favorite ice cream. Today my friend and I went in there and there was a tall young gentleman helping us and a young blonde girl. The guy was super nice and very welcoming. His service was excellent and he was very warm. The young girl however was extremely cold and rude. She seemed like she did not want to help us for whatever reason and when she was serving us her tone and choice of words were very rude. I would have given 5 stars if she hadn't been so unfriendly. read more
