I was really looking forward to coming back and trying this place again. I had actually ordered DoorDash from them the last time I was in Montana a few years ago and absolutely enjoyed it. I couldn't wait to come back. Unfortunately, the customer service was a mixed experience this time. The person who took our order was very friendly, smiled, and made us feel welcome. The others, however, didn't seem nearly as friendly. They appeared serious and somewhat disorganized. While we were looking at the pastries, we were told that drink orders needed to be placed at a different register on the other side, which was perfectly fine. We placed our drink order there and then moved back to the pastry counter to order our pastries. That's when the process seemed to slow down. It took a while to get everything ordered, and the flow of service felt confusing and unorganized. They also forgot to put the herb biscuit in the bag until it was pointed out. We later realized it hadn't been warmed up either. If I had been taking it somewhere without access to a microwave, I would have been extremely disappointed. On a cold day, a cold bacon and egg biscuit just doesn't work for me. I'd like to think it was simply an off day for a couple of the employees because the person who took our order was genuinely pleasant, and that kind of friendliness makes a big difference. As for the food, it was very good. The almond-filled scone was delicious, the macarons were excellent, and the herb egg and bacon biscuit was great once it was warmed up. read more

Loved our visit and had a wheat free pumpkin muffin option for our daughter and she's a fan as well! Nice convo with the barista who let us know they make their own bakery items before they open I had a large mocha with cinnamon ombré and will probably get an extra espresso shot next time just because I like mine really strong. Walked into this store for some coffee before heading to Yellowstone. We were greeted warmly. The store was cozy and inviting, and their pastries looked amazing! We had a regular coffee, cappuccino, and a vanilla and caramel hot latte. We were quickly served. All of our coffees were delicious, but my mom did comment that her coffee was not as hot as she likes to drink it. With that being said, she usually warms her fresh brewed coffee in the microwave for an additional 30-45 seconds. Medium was good size since we were traveling for several hours, but if you need a bigger pick me up, definitely go with a large. read more

I found this place on yelp and we absolutely loved it! Everything is made freshly made on-site - the pastries, the granola and the oatmeal. I had the chia bowl with butterfly tea lemonade. A hidden gem in Great Falls, MT! I highly recommend coming here if anyone ever visits town. Their coffee and baked goods are delicious! I was chatting with the barista, and she mentioned how they source their coffee beans from a roastery in Seattle. My husband and I shared an iced latte. It was delicious, and tasted sweet even when we didn't add any syrup to our drink. We also shared a quiche, which was yummy. Everyone who works their is super friendly, and the interior is very cute! The Gibson Hotel gave us breakfast vouchers for Crooked Tree, and we couldn't have been happier. All of their baked goods were wonderful as were the coffee concoctions.. The delicious treats and the peaceful ambiance paired well with the friendly and attentive staff. I enjoyed every bite as well as every moment that I spent there. Popped in to grab a quick chocolate fix for myself and my mom to go. Got a double chocolate cupcake and a GIANT cream puff for $4 total. Great deal and they were AMAZING! The cupcake was for my mama, but I tasted it and it was light and fluffy, the buttercream frosting was sooo rich and perfectly decadent! My cream puff though....... OH MY GOD it was the best sweet thing I've eaten in a long time. Super creamy and the pastry was delicate and not to doughy. The chocolate icing was perfectly sweet, not too rich or heavy. All I can say is wow!! I'm not a huge sweets fan, so you know this is a good thing!!! I will be back for coffee and pastries for sure, my sister just moved in about two blocks away. I was very disappointed to find that that quiche, one of their signature dishes, was not being offered. Blackberry lime scones, bacon parmesan spinach brioche and egg and bacon biscuits were all good. My freind thought the lemon bars were fantastic. The coffee was decent although the clerk (I don't think she had the chops to be called a barista) had to be questioned repeatedly to describe the ones on offer. A bus tray and garbage can were left next to the food display counter for customers to bus their own tables. Unappetizing to say the least and I don't agree with people having to bus their own tables. For one thing we don't have antibacterial spray and cloths to clean the tables between uses. read more
