I have shop here for many years but was disappointed as there were hardly any selection of germanium flowers. I checked inside and outside of store for them. No vegetable or herb plants. Not sure if there are new owners or not. I would not shop there again. read more

My wife ordered some flowers for prom and got the wrong color ribbons on them for $50. So my wife called Coles Garden and spoke to the representative on the phone and ask them nicely if they could please change the ribbon. The lady that was dealing with my wife thought she put her on hold but did not and then talk to her coworkers Very rudely about my wife and how ridiculous she was for wanting to change the color of the ribbon. She spoke very nasty about my wife to the other employees there. When the representative lady from coles garden garden return to the phone call my wife let her know that she never put her on hold and that my wife overheard everything she was saying about her. Not impressed at all and just buy this one experience we will never shop at Coles garden again!!! Update I spoke with the owner. She was very nice to me and corrected the issues to the best of her abilities. She apologized and was very respectful to me and my wife. I believe she dealt with the employee that caused this problem. read more

I foolishly placed a Mother's Day order online through what I thought was a local florist... turns out they weren't local, botched my order, and delivered the wrong item to the wrong location! WOW! I was so outdone that I called Cole Gardens and spoke to Karrissa to see what (if anything) could be done. After I explained what had happened, she was able to not only get the exact plant I'd originally ordered sent out, she was able to do it the very same day! Went to Cole's on Saturday for their winter farmer's market. It was so much more than I expected! The market was set up in their roomy green houses, and there were so many great vendors. We tested homemade soups, breads, cheeses and pastries. There was fresh fish and vegetable stands with greens, onions and lots of root vegetables. We enjoyed listening to the live music while perusing the hand-crafted items and sampling wine, then shopped around Cole's garden supplies and gifts before we left. All in all a great way to spend a Saturday, and you're supporting the local economy! read more

I recently purchased $120 dollars worth of beautiful plants from this nursery. They were on sale so I got 33% off. I bought these plants on Sept 12. Two are now dying and they will not take them back as they were on sale. I managed to get the person in charge to call me to tell me how to save the plants which will cost me quite a bit of money buying the products to save them. They would not offer me anything other than to spend more money. I will NEVER shop at a place that doesn't take returns nor offer anything in return except to spend more money. Nice nursery, just READ THE FINE PRINT on any items you buy on sale as they won't take them back. read more

My son in Texas sent me flowers for mother's day as he does every year. This year he ordered them from Cole's gardens. They were delivered about 5 pm on Friday may 9th, they had been here once but did not leave them., as I was not at home. I had to call and tell them I was home, they said they would try to get them to me today. A very sweet lady came and handed me the flowers. I was immediately surprised to see these flowers were not the quality my son had sent me in the past. they were roses and 3 tulips which were already hanging down. I no my son had paid a lot of money for the flowers so I ended up going to the florist with my daughter and asked to see the original sales slip. He wanted them to be very bright and spring like. these were anything but spring like. The flowers cost almost 100 dollars and they came in a clear glass vase that you can get at the dollar store. Really! I complained to the lady behind the flower desk and she went to the owner Jane and she said that's what he ordered. I doubt if he would order this bouquet. anyway she did say she would fix my flowers, so I went home and brought them back and talked to a lady named Sandy who was very nice, She asked what I wanted and I said some bright spring flowers, whites, pinks, and yellow. She was very busy, so I said I can come back tomorrow and get them. That afternoon Sandy called me and said that the flowers were ready. I picked .them up and they were much nicer.. My flowers have since died, not even lasting a week .My son usually gets my flowers from Cobblestone in concord. They are the best flowers ever, and they last over 2 weeks. When those flowers are delivered to you or you find them on your doorstep you say WOW!! They are beautiful,. I will be sure to tell my son not you use Cole's again. No mother should have to bring the flowers back to a florist because of the inferior quality.especially on Mother's Day. Lois W read more
