A friend referred me to Cole's Mobile Lock Service when I needed to have my locks changed on my business doors. Cole's came right out and changed the locks and made 12 keys for me right there on the spot. Every key worked, they even gave my old, tired locks a tune-up and they turned easier than ever! I made an appointment with Al to pick my residential lock. Instead of picking the lock he used some other tool to try and unlock my door. Upon doing so he actually broke part of his tool off inside the key entry of my door lock which in turn ruined my lock. I had mentioned the fact that my deceased uncle had picked my lock several times without ruining my lock. He stated the old timer locksmiths were actually more experienced than he was at picking locks. Instead of replacing my lock due to his error he charged me for his service which actually cost me his service fee plus the cost of a new door lock to replace the one he damaged. If I had known he was going to break my lock and I was going to have to replace it I would have not hired him in the first place. Once I bought my new door lock I called him to let him know how much the new lock cost me and wanted to be reimbursed. He then told me to return the lock I had purchased and he would come back to my house and install a new door lock for me. However, when he was originally at my house the first time he did not offer to replace my lock he broke. It was only when I wanted to be reimbursed for the new lock that he was interested in replacing my lock. I told him that I had already installed the new lock on my door and I was not going to take it back to the store. He was not interested in rectifying the situation he created. He then called me back stating he would reimburse me the service fee he originally charged me. After a few days went by I called him back and asked him where my refund was. He stated he had not mailed it yet. When I finally did receive my refund it was only for the price of the new lock and not the amount of the service fee I had originally paid him. I absolutely do not recommend Al or his very unprofessional services. I hope this review saves future customers from the turmoil I had experienced on top of which was already a desperate situation. read more
