They have improved the seating greatly - the seats are absolutely perfect and there is lots of space in front of you now so people can walk by when you're reclined. Seats are heated and the air temperature is very cold. I like that. Come dressed to keep you warm or even bring a blanket. The concessions are still really expensive but you know what, the movie tickets are cheap and this is how the theater makes some money. Picture and sound are excellent. Staff was friendly. I couldn't ask for more and I'm really glad we have this theater in Bluffton.

You pay for snacks and scan tickets at the front and then popcorn and drinks are self serve. I have never been to self serve popcorn but I loved it. You can fill and butter as you see fit. The seat backs are too high and I had to recline the seats in front of us so we could see the whole screen. It wouldn't be as noticeable if the seats were set up as stadium seating. There is no wall that blocks the light when the doors are opened, so that is also a downside to NCG. Since we don't live in Savannah we had to rely on fandango to find us a local theater. The AMC is general admission (no reserved seating) so we chose NCG. We would return, but they do need to rethink design.

I would recommend purchasing your ticket in advance as they do work in a reserved seating format, not open seating. Kiosks are available in the lobby as well. If you have a mobile ticket you can go right to the attendant to see your movie. I've seen other comments stating that the line for concessions is long - that was our experience as well. Other that that, the staff was very nice and happy to help.

My main tip, however, would be this: DO NOT PURCHASE SEATS IN ROW F, which is the first section in the back portion of the theater. What the online ticketing wont tell you is that these are partially obstructed view seats due to the "clear" railings. Although the railings are indeed clear plastic, they are about 5 ft tall and therefore directly blocking your view while sitting down. Instead, I would recommend purchasing seats either towards the front in rows G or H or all the way towards the back of the theater. It will be a much more enjoyable experience, especially if seeing a 2.5 hr or more movie like we did.

Cinemark is one of those, and its a great choice. If convenient, clean and comfortable. They have 8 (maybe more?) theaters, which are all updated with plush comfy chairs that rock (they do not recline). You do have to reserve a seat to see a movie in any of the theaters, which with Covid going, on is kind of a great thing to have already implemented. The sound systems are great, at times a little too loud, but for those action MCU movies, it definitely adds to the excitement of the movie. There are 3D options for some movies and some theaters are smaller than others, I think it depends on the type of movie and different showing times (evening vs matinee). For Matinee movies, you honestly can not get a better price - under $5. Even on the newer movies. After 6pm the evening costs arent that bad either compared to larger theaters. The snacks, candy, popcorn, food and drinks are priced the way most theaters are, but there is a good selection of all to choose from. They are a smaller cinema, so the lobby can get crowded quickly - this isnt a bad thing but more of something to notate in case you try to run in 5 mins before the show, give yourself more time to get snacks and tickets and get to your seats.
