I saw his nurse practitioner, Emily while I was inpatient at Regions BH as well and she is so compassionate. These providers go above and beyond for their patients. The office staff has always been extremely helpful and jumped hoops to help me get appointments and medicines in time. Dr Khan's office provides a texting system to help with all patient needs. I recommend everyone try to get an appointment with Dr Khan or his nurse practitioner, as they have helped me tremendously. 10/10 for Khan Psychiatry's providers and staff!

He listens to what you are going through instead of most people. He's made minor adjustments in my daily medication that has helped me feel more like my old self. The dosage changes make me feel more energetic throughout the day. They have a great person that does the scheduling, Ms. Sadie, Shes efficient in getting your appointment times and dates scheduled with your needs and availability. She also sends out reminder texts of upcoming appoints and calls to set up the new appointments as soon as a session is complete. Just an overall sweet and considerate person. I am doing a piece on this place, unworthy of even being called a facility. I have a close relative who checked herself in for 72 hours due to a mental health crisis. She was not hallucinating, or on any opioids, but did have alcohol, THC, and benzos in her system. What happened over the next 7 days will blow your mind. I don't recommend this place. There is no physician or nurses on duty 24 hours. The "counselors" are rude, and very unprofessional . "Patients" are heavily medicated and/or sedated, and some of the medications cause confusion, hallucinations , and are given unnecessarily.
