The office staff has always been extremely helpful and jumped hoops to help me get appointments and medicines in time. Dr Khan's office provides a texting system to help with all patient needs. I recommend everyone try to get an appointment with Dr Khan or his nurse practitioner, as they have helped me tremendously. 10/10 for Khan Psychiatry's providers and staff!

(She is both a psychiatric and an OB/GYN nurse practitioner.) I have a chronic mental illness for which I will probably take medication for the rest of my life, and I will never willingly change to another provider. Family Focus is VERY CLEAR that they are private-pay only and do not file insurance. That was made clear to me even in the crisis I was having when I originally became a client. I am willing to pay out of pocket for the care I receive here. As far as charging for missed appointments, nearly EVERY mental health practitioner does the same. Don't give too much credence to the negative reviews by people who don't understand how their insurance coverage works.

He listens to what you are going through instead of most people. He's made minor adjustments in my daily medication that has helped me feel more like my old self. The dosage changes make me feel more energetic throughout the day. They have a great person that does the scheduling, Ms. Sadie, Shes efficient in getting your appointment times and dates scheduled with your needs and availability. She also sends out reminder texts of upcoming appoints and calls to set up the new appointments as soon as a session is complete. Just an overall sweet and considerate person. I am doing a piece on this place, unworthy of even being called a facility. I have a close relative who checked herself in for 72 hours due to a mental health crisis. She was not hallucinating, or on any opioids, but did have alcohol, THC, and benzos in her system. What happened over the next 7 days will blow your mind. I don't recommend this place. There is no physician or nurses on duty 24 hours. The "counselors" are rude, and very unprofessional . "Patients" are heavily medicated and/or sedated, and some of the medications cause confusion, hallucinations , and are given unnecessarily.
