I've read a lot of reviews that said that they didn't meet the doctor until the day of surgery, I did. Dr. Gutierrez was really helpful in clearing up any misunderstandings and my pre-op nurse was a sweetheart. The front desk wasn't that great, but I'm not a real whiner about things like that. I guess the deciding factor for my next review will be my experience on the day of the procedure. Right now it could go either way.

It's almost 18 months later and I still don't have my navel and the area surrounding the man made navel is still hard and swollen. I was told by Dr. Strand my navel was herniated and I should see a surgeon, which I did. The surgeon, Dr. Stephen Gordon, scheduled a CT scan, which did not show a hernia. I did go back to Sono Bello and saw a new doctor because Dr. Strand, the surgeon who performed the ABEX, was no longer at Sono Bello.
