I wouldn't give this place any star. Incredibly rude employee. She refused to tell me a price of an item due to her being busy helping a gentleman. I told her that I was in no rush and can wait to be helped so she can keep helping the man and she said "well that exactly what I'm going to do" with such an attitude. Diaper bags are not allowed. Neither are drinks. The owner was very, very rude to us. We drove from Franklin, TN for a day of antiquing with our family but I would definitely recommend Antiques on 231 over this one. We went there and spent $558 with our diaper bag on our backs. read more

First let me say I have never been here in person but from reading the negative reviews here I believe the people leaving them. I have bought records from them in their online live auctions on Facebook and YouTube called CollectCo. Complete rip off in half of the 3,000 dollars I spent in the online auctions. The auctioneer and owner is a complete grifter that owes me money for records that weren't even close to being described accurately. I was cut off like others that have complained about their business practices. Stay clear of this place in person and online. read more

Good news for all of you guys thinking about driving all the way out to Lebanon in search of records, I got a wild hair the other day and decided to drive there from Franklin to look around after hearing about this awesome collection... And now you don't have to. ‍ I will say they had a really decent number of records, most of them used. A few new items. But quite literally , with absolutely no exaggeration, their prices were higher than anything I have ever seen in any store, in person or online. Like crazy off the charts unbelievable ridiculous high!. For example , run-of-the-mill Linda Ronstadt Dan Fogelberg Hall & Oates etc. normally $1 to $3 anywhere. But here they Started from $9.99 to $12.99. Anything by a bigger band was generally in the $19.99 - $36.99 range. Kiss, the Eagles, Bob Seger, Aerosmith, Phil Collins, Genesis, Elton John, Billy Joel, all in that crazy price range. It was nuts. The most crazy I think I saw though was a used copy of Boston "third stage" album (with the song "Amanda" on it) For 44.99!! It wasn't sealed. It wasn't an import. There was nothing special about it. It was in VG condition at best, yet it was 45 bucks ‍ I nearly passed out and would have died laughing but I was trying so hard to be respectful of the sweet ladies working behind the counter who's fault I'm sure this was not. Thankfully gas is cheap in Lebanon and I filled up my tank up and headed home. read more

Be careful shopping here they are not honest at all. We were sold a replica for $139 that is worth $29. I feel this is not a good practice of a company wanting repeat business. Also, the staff were not wearing masks, showing their careless attitude towards customers. I would recommend avoiding this store altogether. There are much better stores close by. read more

We went shopping there, and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the store. However, the staff is very rude. We were approached by an employee accusing us of stealing a comic book. She said she was watching the cameras and saw my friend put it in her purse. She was very rude, we showed her the purse and the contents (more than 1 time). She still wasn't convinced. She then ask me why her purse was unzipped? My friend uses her reading glasses to check prices (so she puts them up until she needs them again, in her purse), instead of asking me the price every time . I was trying to find the restroom, so I wasn't with her to read the price tags. I came to a door that said office while looking for the restroom, the same lady approached me and made a comment about me trying to go into the office. I was NOT, I stopped to read the notes on the door in search of the restroom. I have never been so humiliated in my life. This employee should have apologized to my friend after realizing that nothing had been stolen. read more

I live in Florida but visit family in Lebanon twice a year. For several years I have been visiting this place and always enjoy looking about. Great place to find unique gifts too. Others have commented that not all items are antiques, but this is also a "general store" that has vendor booths. It is a good mix of antiques, vintage, collectibles and decor. I don't think I've ever been so insulted while shopping before. My boyfriend and I were out for a day-off wander, and I was carrying my normal-sized (rather flat and empty) purse around with me. We spent a generous amount in the toy section, enjoying memory lane and poking around for a skateboard the man in the front said was laying around. Eventually, the man and the woman working (the owners?) decided to be insanely NOT SUBTLE about following us around, and making us suuuuper (super.) uncomfortable. The man kept making awkwardly hostile eye contact with me, and my boyfriend, and standing in an aisle as a way to keep us from passing by. Finally, my boyfriend asked him if we were making him uncomfortable, to which the man replied "WHAT DOES SHE HAVE IN HER PURSE." Excuse me? No. Obviously, I didn't open my purse to a complete stranger, and explained that I handed my purse off to my boyfriend while I used the restroom, because I hate taking my $300 leather bag into an unknown bathroom where there might not be a place to set it. After about three minutes or back and forth bickering (we WERE just accused of theft.) we left and made our way to the much friendly place down the road, where we actually bought things. It galls me to drive all the way out to visit an antique place and find that most (~75% in this case) of the items on display are modern/recent and not vintage. For example, there were several hundred of those tin signs on the walls. I don't think I saw one that was "old." No rust, no dings, no dents, no peeling paint. Lots of nick-nacks. Wooden items without the tongue and groove. The heavy smell of potpourri as I entered the place should have alerted me. I know this place has gotten good marks, but I expect an antique mall to sell antiques. read more
