They were super knowledgeable and even offered to right size my daughter for a bike even if I didn't end up buying it from them. Lastly, they even helped me load it into my suv because I was not sure it would fit! Super fast service and I will be coming in on Tuesday when they open (wrote this on a Sunday) to look for bike mirrors! They were busy at the time I entered serving other customers and greeted me immediately, with a smile, letting me know that they were aware I was waiting. When handling my trike flat, they asked if I wanted to wait. What? Like now? Gotta love it. So naturally I waited and remembered a few other issues with my trike, of which I had a complex seat issue. I had ordered some seat "wings" previous to my move. It entailed drilling the carbon seat to fit the wings to make riding more secure as I'd almost been tossed before while encountering some uneven terrain. I quickly drove home and retrieved the parts. This team took the time to figure out the installation, even though the fittings provided by the manufacturer needed considerable tweaking and required much more time to complete. That evening I received a call my trike was repaired and ready to pick up. It was done to perfection. I'm so pleased to now have a bike shop that is efficient and exceptionally competent in their skills that provides service with a smile. i called and spoke to the owner (clyde) about the train cars which were sent to me. i had spoken to…read moreone of his staff yesterday and she agreed that the color of the actual cars was not as represented in the picture on the internet. when i spoke w "clyde" he said that if i wanted to return them he was going to charge me for return freight, a 3% fee for the use of the american express and a restocking fee of 15%. his attitude was rude and very condescending. i would not buy anything from stockyard express if they were the last train store on the planet!

Bent the wire , cut the brass, soldered it all together. Rewound the armature, and replaced the magnets with Arco Magnets . Away my car went screaming around the track. My car was fast and hugged the track. I was sort of a geek for that back then. I was around 9 or 10. I remember The Groove ( Hot Dogs ) , Thom Thumb, Pit Stop, and a few more that the names I can not recall. I still after all these years (59) have my slot car case and most of the parts. I still have boxes of trophies I won in races. Well here is a business that is just opening up soon with a track. Next time I come to Toledo I will bring my case , MXR controllers and cars. See what I have to do to tweak out my 1/24th and 1/32nd scale cars to make the lap. I will give a later update on this when I come back.

Also, at a time when the store was full of of hobby items. So why five stars? I'm not sure about anyone else but for me service is key. This is one of those places where even though he wasn't going to make a sale he treated me like I was purchasing a million dollars with of gear. So at the end of the conversation i asked if I could come back and hang out and he said I could. So on my way out of the door I was informed that he could order anything I want and he will work with me on pricing. Really I'm buying local just for the customer service.
