This is my homebase so I might be a little prejudice on the side of Comics Are Go and Eric Anderson. Comics Are Go. I've been going to Comics Are Go since it was under previous ownership with Scott and it was called "Astound" in Westlake, Ohio. I've had the pleasure of watching this shop grow out of its previous location in the same plaza and into bright and spacious space it is now in. Eric Anderson went from being a novice to journeyman comic guy and always a gentleman. First thing you'll notice when you walk in is how light/ well-lit the store is and how open the floor plan is. Comics Are Go was able expand and fill the space with so much good stuff. They have so many back issues plus so many hidden back issues, it's dizzying. Be sure to ask what you're looking for. On the west side of Cleveland, there is probably not a Comic Shop that has more silver, gold and bronze comics available, including slabbed/ graded books. I believe they may have one of the largest selections of variant comics also. If you're a very collector, it's definitely worth your drive. They get new comics every Wednesday, they're always stocked with supplies and their Funko pop wall is amazing. They've also curated a large selection of graphic novels. I'm always mesmerized by the amount of toys that they have and their fantastic selection of statues and busts. And remember when you're looking at the wall books, they probably have 10 times that amount of wall books available or more. Be sure to ask for what you're looking for. I'm sure Eric or Ed will be able to find it for you. Recently, they put together a section of manga so if you're looking for some manga on the west side, Comics Are Go is your place. Every year Eric throws a big shindig for free comic book day, I am sure this year he is going to have special artists and creators. Plus he's gonna have a ton of free comics. Be sure to stop in. There are always shenanigans to be had.

The owner Eric is a pillar of the community, consistently throwing events for kids and all kinds of fun things. He also has great taste in comics and movies and loves to talk shop with all his customers. The shop clerk Ed is always ready to do research to help find the book you are looking for. All around best shop in NE Ohio...I even hear they have their own theme song written by self proclaimed "local legends" C-level.

They made it right!…read more I bought a Bosch dishwasher from Stewart's a few months ago and had issues with it. The service department was quick to respond to each of my concerns and inquiries. After sending a technician out twice, Stewart's decided to send me an even better dishwasher rather than wait for Bosch to try to repair it again. I love my new dishwasher and am very grateful for Stewart's making the situation right! I also bought a washer and dryer from Stewart's and love the appliances! Pam made the sale easy, the delivery was seamless and the products are perfect! I will be back for a refrigerator soon! There is just something special about working with a family owned appliance store over the big box stores!

My refrigerator, that had been giving us annoying problems such as noisy fan (that made me think it…read morewas on its way out) and not being able to adjust the temperature, even though we followed the manual, causing food to freeze in the refrigerator side. Finally, a water leak was the final straw and we headed up to Stewart's on Cleveland Street to look for a new one. We found the right size, style and and features in a beautiful black Maytag French door model. We were assisted by Brody who was extremely knowledgeable about the features of each refrigerator we looked at. No pressure, just help! We wrote up the order and delivery was scheduled for the following Saturday. The following Thursday, however, our nearly 25 year old washing machine broke down. Upon weighing the cost as well as the advantages/disadvantages of repairing an old washer, we decided to buy. Limited by the size in the depth of the machine we shopped on-line, taking print outs of some that seemed to work out for our needs and headed to the store on Friday morning. As with our first visit to the store, the salesman, Tom, helped us find the size we needed and was extremely knowledgeable about the features of the washing machine. As we wrote up the sale, he was able to get the washer on the same truck as the refrigerator and we got both appliances the very next morning. About delivery; it was fantastic. The two men were efficient, friendly and also knowledgeable about the two appliances, going over everything with us to answer any questions we might have. I love my two new appliances that work they way they should and the great care of everyone at Stewart's! I just can't say enough about our good neighbor and independent, family owned business of 79 years.
