She understands the changes a mom's body undergoes to accommodate a growing fetus and offers helpful advice with respect to stretches or posture positions. Over the last few months as I've gotten to know her, she frequently talks about different classes she has attended or is going to attend. She is constantly expanding her knowledge base and sharing that knowledge with her clients. While I am fortunate that my pregnancies are smooth and easy, I have had significant lower extremity swelling with them. I started seeing Michelle early on, and the swelling has been much more manageable this time around. I did not know Michelle before attending my first appointment. He's one of the few Dr's that doesn't try to max out your insurance (Thank you Dr Cheatham, Thank you Dr. Mammano) nor does he do the exact same technique on every patient. He's the only one that gives a real thorough adjustment! You actually heal from his care. He doesn't want his patients to keep coming back--he wants them healed. He's also the only one who EXPLAINED my x-ray's to me. (Never got that in Chicago). Plus, his adjustments are specialized to your unique injury--most chiropractors do the same thing on every patient--they stop adjusting as soon as they hear a pop. (That's what I hate about chiropractors--those are the quacks). Dr. Dan's adjustment style is the BEST, hands down. He is a patient advocate and is super affordable (esp for the uninsured).
