We paid 8.00 for a taxi and arrived 15 mins early for our table. We were all hungry and looking forward to the steaks. On arrival we waited a few mins before we were welcomed by a gentleman who asked if he could help. We said we had a table booked. He could not find the booking. I explained that I had changed the date, so he looked at the 10th and my booking was still there. No bar meals were being served, the restaurant was full and so was the cabaret lounge. It was 8pm on a cold wintery evening and the gentleman could offer us nothing. I asked for the manager and he said he was the manager. He didn't offer us the taxi fare, a drink or anything in way of apology for his staffs error. Not very good customer service, is it Liam? Loyal customers are the ones you should want to keep happy, not send away angry.
