Apart from waiting for over 45min to get my order delivered, the worst was to receive all 3 portions of chips extremely greasy, when removing the portions of chips from a plastic bag, my hands needed to be washed to get rid of all the grease. The chips were wrapped in poor quality ordinary white paper, all stuck on the paper. The onion rings were far to be proper onion rings, as they were not battered as expected, falling apart, totally greasy, wrapped on the same poor quality paper. The Hawaii pizza completely lukewarm. The store had no consideration in putting the chips and the onion rings in a polyesterine box. The barbecue sauce was ridiculous, not tasting like the proper sauce. I felt robbed after paying £14.91 for so disgusting and appalling service received. Their online website offers 10% off but at the end it is more like 5%, as they charge a service fee on the top of the delivery. I do not need to say that I will never ever order anything again from this place. It makes me wondering how Google shows this place amongst the best 10 chippy stores in Huyton. I will definitely stay away from them. Not recommended at all, unless you want to have a heart attack soon, if eating such unhealthy food due to so much grease, on a daily basis.

After a few mentions to others, I found that most of Warrington already knew of how good the chippy was and many travelled a long way for their fish suppers, just because Bewsey Chippy was so consistently good.
