On the day of the appointment they called me and asked if they could swing by the location early since a previous job had been finished. I of course said yes. Once there they got to it and finished the job in just about half the time we had allocated. Everything was carefully handled and they took extra care with some of the more fragile items. The locals at both departure and arrival points were professionals. I recieved status updates all along the way and everyone was pleasant to talk with. It was a perfectly easy and inexpensive way to move from CA to ID.

I got no calls from Nicholas Moving letting me know they had received the sleeper sofa. On July 20th I contacted Nicholas Moving. The delivery was set up for July 24th between 10 am and 2pm. Needless to say, the sleeper sofa never arrived. I contacted Nicholas Moving. No answer and their voice-mail was full. I called again. Someone answered. They took my information and told me someone would get back with me. I contacted Wayfair. I informed them about the problem I was having. They contacted Nicholas Moving. The Wayfair representative had the person from Nicholas Moving on the line. I was the same person I had talked to on July 20th. Once again, excuse after excuse. I contacted Wayfair again. I informed them I wanted a refund. I was then informed that I would have to pay a $140.00 rerouting fee. Are you kidding me? A rerouting fee for a sleeper sofa that I never received but is in Nicholas Moving's warehouse.!!!! How does this make sense?? No more buying from Wayfair. They are punishing the consumer.

We just completed a local move (we are still unboxing at the destination). We used their packing…read moreservice as well as loading, transport, and unloading. Josh came out and did the quote and the price came back right in the middle of what one of the online calculators estimated. The packers took two days to box everything and judging by the lack of damage we've seen unboxing, it was time well spent. The packers were curtious, polite and very focused. During the load and unload phase, padding was installed on all of the banisters, etc. and they moved everything carefully and safely (no damage to either house). They checked with us regularly as some items were moved and others not. And, there was no grumbling on unload when I had them move one couch twice between floors. Junior and the crew did a wonderful job for a reasonable price!
