All summer classes are held at Wee Lad, and our girls had wonderful experiences the past two summers. The school has a huge, fenced backyard playground, and the classes make excellent use of it, weather permitting. My older daughter now attends the pre-K during the regular school year, and has continued to take huge strides in early learning. The teachers keep the lessons fun. The staff and team work with families to offer schedules that seem to be more flexible than the other schools that I considered before choosing Wee Lad. The school has been excellent to work with in regards to food allergies and maintaining the safety of my child.

Parents ask me all the time which school gets the most out of their students. My answer is always the same; NAPS. This is the best run, most efficient, and nicest school you'll ever come across, period. I don't know much about how tuition works or any of that but I'm sure it's expensive to send your child here and for good reason, you get what you pay for. The quality of the education your son or daughter receives stands head and shoulders above the rest. I'm not saying other schools in the area are garbage or anything like that. I'm not putting other schools down let me be clear. Just that in my years of experience working with kids in after school, the teachers and administrators at NAPS do a better job than most. Disappointed in the management and question their integrity…read more Reserved an Aug2015 spot for our son (under 2) in Feb2015 on the recommendation of their staff to ensure we got him in. This was a contingency plan based on retiring from the Marine Corps and staying in the area. I paid $1876 and was aware of their zero refund policy for under 2 care. On 5Jun2015 (approx 2 months before our son was supposed to begin), we notified the Goddard School that we would be moving to PA and not using our spot. We inquired about getting partial refund on our deposit and thought this was reasonable given the advance notice we gave them. We were told "no" within hours of making the request. The Goddard School had an opportunity to help out a retiring service person. I wasn't so much looking for the Goddard School to lose income on our situation but rather help create a win-win solution for both of us by attempting to fill the spot with another child. If they would looked for even a week, this situation would have turned out on a positive note. In my BBB complaint, Ms Patel claims she and her staff had no idea that I was in the service. That isn't a true statement but it really shouldn't matter. Ms Patel also states that after hearing I would be given zero refund that that I asked to keep the spot reserved. This is a true statement but has no bearing on the case at hand. Where is the formal letter I requested stating that you're company did not double book my son's spot? Ms Patel, I was impressed with your staff but you handled this situation wrong and had multiple chances to make it right. Why didn't you talk to me personally about this? Single instances like this separate good businesses from great businesses. Bottom line: - Why did Arnold, MD Goddard school recommend that we reserve a spot 6 months out? How hard would it have been to fill our spot given we gave them 2 months advance and the timing of the spot (Aug when summers are ending). - How much effort did they Arnold, MD Goddard School put into helping my family solve our problem? - $1876 for ZERO SERVICES RENDERED....this didn't have to happen.
