I am so pleased to have worked with College Planning Partnerships! Their experience, clarity, and excellent tutors really made the difference for me and helped me achieve my desired score. Before, I struggled with pacing and understanding what the test was really looking for. However, the sessions I took helped create a step-by-step plan that I would follow for each section. The help I received was specific to my needs and weaknesses on the test. They did not teach the test as if there was a set formula to doing well. My tutors were very encouraging and motivating. Also, after each session, my tutors provided extensive feedback to myself and my parents on my performance during the session. This was invaluable information. They had more faith in my abilities than I did! I would highly recommend College Planning Partnerships to anyone in need of SAT or ACT prep. read more

I am so glad that I decided to take advantage of the SAT prep classes at College Planning Partnerships. Sam and Zac were incredibly helpful in preparing me for the SAT and I went into the test more confident than I ever had for standardized tests in the past. Initially I was skeptical about the online tutoring, but I quickly realized that it was an extremely useful tool. With the offices being almost an hour away, the online tutoring was very convenient for my family and me and it allowed for much more flexibility with planning. Even though it was online, I didn't feel like any part of the tutoring was lacking because the tutors were so engaged and all of the materials we would have used in person were right in front of me on my computer screen. These prep classes really helped to make the test seem much less intimidating and I became more relaxed and calm when taking the test as a result. I learned so many useful test-taking strategies and was able to manage my time much more effectively. After taking the SAT for the first time, my scores were much higher than my PSAT scores earlier this year, and critical reading, which had often been my weakest section in past standardized tests, became one of my strongest sections on the SAT. Established in 2003.

Founded by Sam Rosensohn, a recognized teacher in the state of Connecticut, on the porch of his home in Essex. The company quickly evolved as students and parents recognized how much Sam cared immensely about every student he worked with. This same attitude remains the cornerstone of College Planning Partnerships stance on education.

Meet the Business Owner: Sam R.

Sam Rosensohn is the founder of College Planning Partnerships, a college prep company that is known for its extraordinary results and the care and attention it gives to each and every student. Sam is a nationally recognized public school teacher. The U.S. Congress, the Connecticut State Legislature, and statewide teacher organizations have recognized Sam for excellence in the field of education. Harvard University asked Sam to participate in a research project entitled, The College Access Collaborative. After completing a nationwide search, Yale University's School of Management chose College Planning Partnerships as a company for its graduate students to partner with. Sam wrote a widely-read newspaper column that is entitled, College 101. The veteran public schoolteacher is a recipient of the James Madison Fellowship, issued by the U.S. Congress to one teacher annually in the state of Connecticut.

Thank you so much for all the help, this was a fantastic class. The class helped me to feel prepared and confident for the SAT; when I went on test day I knew I was ready to tackle the test successfully. The instructors related well to all of the students, and I gained so many helpful tips about the test I feel it was completely worth my time. Learning all the strategies Gary and Andrew shared in class really improved my score. I was able to get 2010 on my SAT, an increase of almost 300 points from my PSAT, thanks to all I learned at College Planning Partnerships. In addition to improving my scores on the SAT, my family has also gained insight into the entire college application process from Sam. Thanks to everyone at CPP, I am confident that I am on the right track to get ready for next year. This has significantly reduced the stress during my junior year, and I am sure I will be sending Sam good news next year about where I will attend college. I highly recommend College Planning Partnerships to anyone interested in improving their scores. The instructors are very knowledgeable and always willing to help. I just wanted to let you know that Kelly scored a 710 on the reading section, a 50 point increase from the January exam and a 750 on the writing section an 80 point increase. She scored a 10 on the writing prompt, up from an 8 on the January test. We were happy with Kelly's results. Kelly attributes the increase to your tutoring. She really enjoyed working with you and learned a lot. We have recommended you to several of her friends-I am sure that you will be hearing from them soon. read more
