I had my deck painted this summer, with the job led by Dan DiCillo. First, from the moment Dan came to my home to do the estimate - he was professional and thorough. From politely introducing himself and his peers, to taking off his shoes upon entering my home, to talking through what College Works had to offer, to quoting the job and finally, to providing an estimate; he spent over 2 hours to be certain he was understanding my needs as a customer, and providing the best options. I was extremely impressed! I knew that there was no one who could do the job better - and I hired him on the spot. He came to powerwash the deck to prep, and he had additional recommendations to make sure the job was done right and to my liking - this was something I greatly appreciated because had I not known, I would not have been as thrilled with the outcome. Again, after going over his recommendations, I immediately agreed and we chose a color/stain. He allowed me to replace some boards that had been rotting and worked around my schedule. The job took less than 2 days, and I was home and watching the care that was put into every stroke. They stayed late to put an additional coat on and it turned out AMAZING. I was unsure about the color to choose and Dan steered me in the right direction and again, was spot on because it is a rich mahogany that added years and life to what was already there! I have my son's birthday party this weekend and can't wait for people to see the deck! It literally looks brand new - and was a lot more cost effective that re-doing it entirely. My wife and I hired College Works to paint the exterior of our 1919 built house in Bay Village. It all started when Jeremy visited our house, knocked on our door and talked through the process. Jeremy provided an excellent presentation, listened to our color scheme thoughts, presented a quote and boom, things were scheduled. To put it mildly, the exterior of our house was a lead-based mess. Probably hadn't been painted in 80 years, but certainly had potential. We purchased this house 1 1/2 years ago and have been rehabbing it ever since. We recently had college works painting complete a job painting the front porch of our home. Ayush and his team did a fantastic job. As the team leader, Ayush was great to work with. He communicated clearly the details of the job. From the first time we met with him until the job was finished, he made clear all of the various steps involved. We live in an older home and our porch had numerous layers of old paint that needed to be removed before being repainted.
