However, their signage clearly states that anyone not fully vaccinated must wear a mask. I myself wore one despite having been fully vaccinated since May. So imagine my surprise when I overhear an employee on the phone talking about getting her second vaccine dose next week. I exited the fitting room to find her unmasked walking around the store and helping customers. Extremely disappointed by their Covid safety adherence.

After a few months they reduced the price by 25% which was acceptable. A few months later, without seeking my consent, they sold it for less than half the price which was completely unacceptable. Had they told me I would have taken the chair back. I had to ask when payment to me would be made and was told 4-6 weeks. I did not think this was appropriate. After 8 weeks without receiving payment I reached out on June 7th. I was told the check had been mailed June 6. When the check arrived on June 12 it was postmarked June 9th-they clearly lied to me. From marking down the price by more than half without consent to holding onto my funds for nearly 3 months and then lying about mailing the check, their actions were extremely unprofessional. I sent a letter expressing my displeasure and have not had a response

The old story updated. Brought my watch for repair of a loose dial. They fixed that, but the week…read moreafterward, the watch minute and hour hands froze up a couple times. I returned the watch and they observed the watch for a few days and the problem did not occur, so the watch was returned to me without anything done. The watch hands froze up again twice this week and again I returned to the Southampton store for the same problem. The store people told me they were going to watch the watch to see if there was a problem. I have photos of the frozen watch hands but that was not enough to convince them! Then they said they would send it out again and get me an estimate for the repair, at my cost!! I have always had this watch repaired at Southampton's London Jewelers without any quality issues, but at the time I sought out help from Corwin's, my "go to" place was closed. One star for Corwin for terrible customer service, and waste of my time over multiple trips there. They claim the intervention to fix the dial had nothing at all to do with the hands freezing the week after their repair man fiddled with the piece. I simply to not accept this failure to make things right and will never use nor recommend doing business with Corwin again. One hour later addendum: Corwin messaged me to let me know that my initial payment of $85 is going to be refunded to me. Note that I was repeatedly clear about the watch intermittently stopped and gets going when I reset the hands. At no time did Corwin tell me that they would pay for the added repair costs. I did get quite angry with the staff due to the frustration over how my concerns were addressed, and I apologize. Update: Corwin's did refund me and I put up with the watch that continued to repeatedly stop. I brought it today September 25, 2025, into Southampton's London Jewelers for that same problem. Their expert took it and opened it up immediately and said the problem was probably from a loose battery not being secured properly by a plate. He explained that he observed the battery to be loose when it was supposed to be held snugly in place. He said the battery was fine and that there was no need to send it out for repair. Not only did I appreciate the friendly and helpful London Jewelers staff, the location has incredibly delicious quality chocolate cookies and other treats (free) while you wait. Finally, the watch was returned to my wrist with the time reset and I was wished well and WAS NOT CHARGED. Now that is perfect customer service! Unfortunately that initial trip to Corwin's long ago, was on a day London Jewelers, my usual go-to-place, was closed.

I contacted this business on Yelp and Jerry was super responsive. I decided to go down to Main Street (I avoid this area like the plague bc it's so busy) but it was well worth the trip. His booth is inside a building with multiple businesses and his is on the left side about halfway in. It was a Saturday so it was busy. He was so friendly, personable and honest. He cut the anklet, added the clasp and it came out very good. He finished within 25 min or so while I waited. I loved giving my business to this small business and nice guy. Thank you!
