They owners and staff have a keen sensibility to source and display incredible pieces to bring into your home. I always leave the store inspired and ready to bring home their amazing inventory. The staff could not have been friendlier or more knowledgeable. This is not one of those "stand back and judge until you want to purchase" type of stores. They helped me pick out a new ottoman and some end tables that our Living Room was crying out for, and I couldn't be happier!

I stopped at another place in Southampton and left right away because I could tell it was just beyond what we could afford. All custom everything. On a whim decided to stop at Hamptons Carpet One and it was one of the best decisions I made regarding the ADU! Eugenia greeted us and gave us an honest, up front assessment of our needs and what would work. We never felt pressured. We walked away so much informed and decided to go with engineered flooring instead of the LVT. We let our builder know about our visit. He was just as excited about the product we found. The next thing we know, we're ordering 36 boxes of engineered wood flooring that looks BEAUTIFUL. Excellent quality at an affordable price with great service. These peope know their stuff, and even when I called, and spoke to other staff, it was like talking to family. So helpful. I can't recommend them enough! I'm grateful we have a resource like them on the East End. They serve all sorts of clientele. Again, are very knowledgeable and although we didn't need them to install, they offered a great package if they did. You have to stop in at least once in your journey for the right flooring. I laid…read moreon my horn and the driver continued to get incredibly close to my car, so I continued to beep. The driver screamed at me that he had a camera in a complete anger. I am a woman alone with children. I simply did not want my car damaged. I'm not sure what this guys problem was but I know I'd never want him in my house doing an installation. I was shaken. My husband on speakerphone could hear the man screaming at me. People were staring. This employee clearly has a massive anger issue. I called the business and the woman said "I'm sorry that happened, that's the world now." No, that's your employee and their behavior was completely unacceptable.

I have been a PB customer for years, in most recent years mostly shopping online. But occasionally, I do feel the need to visit a brick and mortar store to touch and see items before purchasing. In the past, I visited PB's Huntington location, mostly because it is the closest to my home. But, it was always a let down. The Huntington location is famous for its exceptionally poor customer service and I've experienced it first hand many times:( Today however, I was in the mood to take a drive. I called ahead to see if the Southampton store had the item I was looking for (no longer available online). I had them put it on hold for me and jumped in the car. When I entered the store, I was greeted by several very friendly employees who asked if there was anything they could help me with. It wasn't one of those obligatory greetings where an employee acknowledges you quickly while rushing by, they were genuinely happy to help. I told them I was going to look around a bit and I'd let them know. I had seen some pillow covers online that I wanted to purchase but I couldn't find them. I asked and they were located for me. I purchased them along with another two pillow covers I had put on hold. I was also interested in a rug but I wanted to see it in person before purchasing it online. They didn't have it on the sales floor but the manager, Karen, went out of her way to find a swatch for me. She was very helpful. She's even going to try to find it for me locally so I don't have to pay for oversized delivery. My experience in the Southampton store was such a breath of fresh air. It reminded me why I fell in love with Pottery Barn so many years ago. Bravo to the entire staff at this location. In the future, this is where I will shop when I shop at a physical PB location. *On a side note, I thought the Huntington store was closer to my home and while it is closer in distance it took me about the same amount of time to drive to Southampton. I will most certainly return. This store has two floors and is laid out beautifully with tons of eye candy. I dare you to shop here and not buy something;)

Didn't deal with the retail store but the website for a wedding gift. Two different sized platters…read moreof the same style. Got an email that one item was back ordered, and should ship two months later. Super inconvenient, but the items went together so I waited. After the date came and went with no word, I called the 800 number and eventually got to speak to customer service. They told me that the item was discontinued and that they had emailed me. Ah, no you didn't. They then sent me an email, riddled with typos, that day. No apologies for the inconvenience. I guess they have all the business they want and don't need mine. I would never shop from them again.
