I love this library. I often go there to study. They have computers and it's quiet. They also have a puzzle station and drawing station. I always see they have flyers for kid things to do. Not long ago I saw one for a Star Wars thing. read more

Naples is one of our favorite locations in Florida for all its beauty and splendor and when you arrive, you're wondering "Is this really the library?" Why yes, yes it is! The staff here is incredibly helpful and insightful in guiding you to the precise location to feed your curiosity. They are a tremendous resource for computer use, printing and scanning documents and simply some much needed time to yourself and your favorite books. AKA Headquarter this is the latest and newest library in the area. I'd say that I always have a love of the original HQ that was on Central. The Lobby often has a display in a showcase to encourage thought. I'd say that this was well designed for beauty and very welcoming. Free WIFI. It is filled with comfy furniture. They have special programs for kids and book clubs. They also have a nice fountain in a beautiful courtyard. The link on the page is broken for hours and locations see link below. If I'm there I usually can catch up on reading magazines a few newspapers. I should make more visits to this library in general. Very clean library, can't say as much for the people. I was shh'd once for typing too loudly by a guy who had as many teeth as shirts. Are they just giving these cards out to anyone?! I'm trying to print my tax returns, do you even know what those are? And no I can't spare any change. The staff has always been very friendly. That gentleman was forcefully removed by the police promptly after Nancy informed them of the situation. He resisted until tased, but apparently no one advised this nuisance that libraries are meant to be quiet. Keep your screaming down. He dropped his library card while flailing about on the ground. Probably never going to return the copy of Catcher in the Rye that I checked out on his behalf. The fee's will be insurmountable so he'll have to use whatever change he gets paying his library fee's instead of on alcohol. You're welcome. read more

The prettiest library I've seen! I thought I was heading into a southern church with the Spanish architecture and waterfalled courtyard. Once inside, there's an abnormally large number of checkout areas--about 12 (does this place ever get that busy?) but only three are mainly used. The inside screams SHUT UP AND STUDY! This is definitely not a "chill" library. All the wood decorations and desks suggest this place would have been happily plopped within a university. I was ready to study anyway, and each desk had an electric socket for my laptop fellows. Walls section of other parts of the library--computers, periodicals--the young adults section is horribly tiny, but there's a large selection of movies. If you wanted to talk... and you would REALLY be scared to indoors... you head to the courtyard. PYRA SAYS: Good to study... but is this place haunted? It lacked that "personal" feeling I associate with libraries. read more

Proud this is my neighborhood library. All you want and more. Staff is welcoming, patrons very educated and polite. Many rooms here for children, conversation, tutoring, meeting, computer use, or the usual quiet reading area. A small theatre, a fireplace, a fountain and outside seating areas, make this my favorite. read more

Sugden Theatre has added its name to the small auditorium with graduated seating. Artis-Naples used the space as one of its public, free concert sites. I attended a 90 minute, afternoon classical performance by Naples' symphony chamber. Considering that this is within the library's footprint, it's a good testimonial to the building's acoustics. The concert didn't interfere with the Library's quiet, or disturb the kiddos in their area enjoying the summer crafts and "heroes" presentation. read more

On Sundays this location is very busy and most people don't observe library decorum. A ton of talking, socializing, talking on the phone, people either don't know how to use computers or computers don't work, in that there is constant computer instruction going on in loud voices. I went from room to room looking for a quite space, some areas louder than others but none absolutely quite. Green leather(?) chairs are extremely uncomfortable, chair back is too straight up. Every time you sit or move in those chairs they make super loud noise. Must be faux leather- rubber or something. I wish the environment was more conducive to studying or reading rather than a small community social center. read more

This is our go to Library in Naples. Fairly easy to park and walk up to. I wish there was a better selection or more of some of the newer titles. Seems that books are never there...and wait list is very long :( My son loves it here and most of his books new and old seem to be in and out very quickly, we never have to wait long in his case. read more

This is a very beautiful library and has easy and accessible sections. They are spread out and have large signs describing the different areas for different genres. It is update with new technology, has a theater, quite a few computers to use, and a beautiful area outside where you can work or study on your laptop. Also, another hotpot for photography. There is a fountain, an ivy walkway and alcoves where you can get some great portrait or architecture shots. read more

The Collier county library online ebook lending library is really the worst I have experienced. I have lived in multiple areas and have used the online lending Overdrive app since it's early inception. I have had this is at least three other library systems. Each of them was sigficnatly better both in terms of lending time 21 days vs. Collier max of 14 days and in terms of the books and author selection. Collier seems to have very few, of any, new bets sellers available. In addition, I was able to find a much larger variety of authors in Naperville, Dakota county in MN, and others. I have called and emailed multiple times but there doesn't seem to be any answer except "these are our rules regarding the 14 days" and "we don't have the budget to buy new books or other authors." I find this very surprising in this community. read more

Live out of state, and had a medical emergency with a family member back home. I needed computer access to print a release form so a medical procedure could be performed. I rushed to the library to get assistance, and was treated poorly. I didn't have my ID nor my wallet, so they wouldn't let me use the computer. I understand there are rules, but in an emergency situation, exceptions should be made. I called the library to speak to a manager, and never heard back. Luckily the Publix grocery store helped me out, and my daughters surgery was performed. Thank you Publix grocery for your amazing assistance. Thumbs down to the library!!!! read more
