I had been searching for replacements, but couldn't find any I liked as well as what I already had. So, I started a search for reupholstery, and that lead me to SBS Leather Repair. What a find! A few text messages where I shared photos of the damaged chairs, then a few phone conversations, I had a good sense about Sam, the gentleman I had spoken with, and we settled on the three bar stools being finished with all the same detail and a nice Italian leather, and he quoted a very fair price. Finish, timing, cost, all as promised. The work was incredibly detailed, I was so happy, that I had them repair my living room natuzzi red leather chair, where over the years, the arms had cracked and where badly stained. It too, was another success. I wish they weren't so far from another home, where they could do their magic. What craftsmanship, and what honest, humble skilled workers. I was upset with that,I was more upset with the craftsmanship the workmanship, not to mention he then used my car for his personal vacation, took my car to the beach and allowed his friends to use it also without my permission . I was also told the rear seats where going to be redone he actually used spray paint to make them look new ..He attempted to do the carpets to the bottom of the vehicle which was an absolutely different color from what was originally in the car ... just awful.. he demanded more money, after getting over $1800. At which point I asked for my vehicle back he did not want to release my vehicle he held it hostage.. Don't go to this company you, You Will get ripped off, he will do what's called a switch and bait, and then he will overprice you and not pay laborers for the work that they do because he does not do the work himself.

Since moving down to Naples my 67 Corvette was serviced by one shop for 27 years in Chicago. The…read morecar never ran as strong as it should, but it was tired and old, and I didn't know any better. After being in Naples for 5 years, didn't know where to take the car but needed the power steering replaced and the AC converted to 134R. Looked around and found BPR. Visited their shop and was impressed with the facility and the people. Made an appointment and took the car in and had the work done. A couple of weeks later I picked up the car and was pleased with the work. Drove the car about five miles and it stuttered and stalled several times. Finally made it home and called Brett who immediately said that he would have a flatbed pick up the car. A few days went by, and I visited the shop and both Brett and Jeff explained that the original carb needed to be rebuilt and that there were other issues but that they needed time to pinpoint the issues. About a month went by and I picked up the car. Jeff explained that several wrong parts had been installed by my mechanic in Chicago and that the coil was bad along with a few other items. He then took me out for a ride in the car, and I have to say, it's never ran as good as it does now. It's got the get up and go that I have never experienced since owning the car. The car idles smoothly and drives really, really great. If you are looking for a shop to work on your classic, BPR is the BEST. They are not the fastest, but they are VERY knowledgeable, honest, and fairly priced.
