DO NOT GO TO THIS SERVICE CENTER!…read more I scheduled a vehicle repair 4+ weeks BEFORE bringing my RAM into the dealership for repair (because they couldn't see my truck sooner). Four days before my SCHEDULED appointment, I brought my RAM there and dropped it off. I didn't hear ANYTHING about my truck until I called 15 days after dropping the truck off. They were supposed to call me back that day, but they did not. I called the next day (day 16), and they couldn't find my truck, my paperwork, or my keys. No records of my vehicle. They did call back once that day (at the end of the day), saying the truck was "finished days ago" and that they "forgot to call me." I asked what was wrong, and I was told that they didn't even look at the reason the truck was brought to the shop (likely needs a new PCM based on another shop's review). All they did was update software AND DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE ACTUAL ISSUE. My truck was left there for a specific repair, lost, and without a call when they STOPPED WORKING ON IT so I could get my truck, they just never even looked at the reason I brought it to the shop! I called back the next day (day 17), and they STILL had not looked at it the actual issue. I removed my truck from this service center. DO NOT GO TO THIS SERVICE CENTER!

I had previously brought my Jeep Wrangle in for oil change and tire rotation- always been please…read morewith speedy service. this time I took it in because of a warning light and a tire problem. First issue was the first available appointment was 3 weeks out. Parts had to be ordered (understandable) was supposed to be a couple of days. after not hearing from them, not able to contact by phone after leaving messages my husband went over there and was told mechanic was at lunch (10:30 am) after an hour or so was told mechanic was not there and they couldn't find the paperwork! When work was finally completed the bill shows work that I was told they recommended not to do. I had a tire throw a belt - getting new tires and was charged for a tire rotation (buying tires elsewhere) Will not return to the service center - and more than likely will find my next Jeep somewhere else

UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS 1 STAR REVIEW BELOW: I sent an email…read moreto the General Manager, Rod Morris, who had Ronnie reach out to Zac within hours. They had they car towed at their expense from our home in Mandeville to the dealership in Hammond. Their mechanic agreed with Autoville: the car was toast. Ross Downing agreed to purchase it back for 75% of what Zac paid. While it would've been nice to receive the full amount, legally, Ross Downing wasn't required to offer anything. We do appreciate them doing the right thing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ORIGINAL REVIEW: 56 Days. That's how long the car my son bought from Ross Downing Chevrolet lasted. That's 26 days past their 30 guarantee. Ross Downing could have chosen to be a hero and offered some type of assistance. However, despite several calls and numerous conversations with the FB chat bots, the only person we heard from was his opportunistic salesperson. His laughable "solution" was for us to trade the now-inoperable car in for another vehicle which my son would have to finance. My son is early 20s, works 2 jobs and saved to pay cash for this vehicle. He probably doesn't have credit score to qualify for a loan, nor does he want to incur debt. (And frankly, he's distrustful of you now.) I realize Ross Downing is under no legal obligation to help my son. However, there's "right" and then there's "doing the right thing." The latter creates loyalty, repeat customers, and good word of mouth. This experience is the opposite of that. [Note: neither my son, nor my husband, recall being offered an extended warranty, but if you can show paperwork that he initialed/signed declining coverage, I'll concede that point.]
