I had the special of the day, which was a chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and a house made roll for like $10. It was delicious. Everything on the plate seemed made in house, and the roll was hot out of the oven. Their pie case was filled with house made pies, so I had to have a slice. I got raspberry cream, which isn't one I see very often, but do like a lot. It was excellent as expected. By the checkout they had pies, chicken pot pies, bread, and other things to go which also looked amazing. This one is definitely worth going out of your way to try!

The coffee shop was quaint and cozy, and the kind of place that I would like to spend hours had I had the time. Lots of selections and everything sounded good, but I settled on a special that was made for me. It was a cherry Pepsi Americano float. It was delicious and packed full of cherry flavor. This place has awesome burgers, homemade Suzy Q's are always a hit, and today we decided to give breakfast a try. My son got the bacon omelette. He said it was good, a little thin where as he likes the fluffy style omelette. I had the country fried steak, over medium eggs which were cooked PERFECT, hash browns that were so good, and toast. My son stole my toast but it was normal toast. I would get the breakfast again. The service is always great, refills in drinks, sauces or other needs are always met quickly. The place is old ya all, it's not a fancy place by any means but it's a delicious diner where the food is still an insanely great price. My breakfast was $10. This will always be one of our go to's when we go home to visit.

Coming into the downtown area of Burlington heading north, we stumbled on a quaint coffee shop and had to stop in to see what's up. We discovered this unique little spot that serves pastries, coffee, ice cream and has items from local vendors, including locally sourced beef!! Wifey had a latte which was good and she found some Einkorn flour which she'd never seen before. I'm excited for her to bake something with it! I got a mango smoothie which was incredibly flavorful and not too sweet. Dawn shared my drink with me and got a new hair clip from the vendor section. It was a fun stop and we got to support local! Lots of wins for us and we have a stop to look forward to on our next visit!! Such a cool place!! My only regret was forgetting to get my signature selfie while here!! Whoopsie!!

World's Worst McDonalds Ever!!!…read more This was the worst McDonalds experience I ever had! You had NO Caramel frapuccino. I ordered extra butter on my egg Mcmuffin and you just blew me off and gave me a Mcmuffin with NO butter at all! When I took it back the employee just gave me a pat of frozen butter to put on my cold sandwich! I just took the pat of frozen butter and threw the sandwich and the frozen butter in the trash. They also gave my wife a Mcgriddle with burnt bacon, which she just tossed in the trash rather than having to deal with those rude employees. The employees were very unfriendly and made my wife and I extremely uncomfortable. We couldn't wait to leave that horrible restaurant, even though we had to leave hungry, without eating anything and being out $21 for getting nothing worthy of eating!!! This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to, and likely the worst McDonald's in the whole world!!!
