I had went into the office to speak with a staffing agent, we had an interview she got all my details and etc etc. She told me she would reach out and that never happened. So I assume okay she got busy, so I go to check in, now I get another person who assured me they would help me, and keep in contact. They do get paid to find work for us who are seeking work. Yet again another person missing in action. So I ask again what's the problem why do they go weeks without reaching out after they mention jobs they can get you and you don't hear from them. They don't really care to find you a job, and when they send you emails there's like 3 people CC'ed on it, and it always says " REPLY ALL" every single time. I think this is very unprofessional, I don't want to speak to several people constantly because that's how they can't keep up, and you have to repeat yourself and start from scratch. I've brought this up to them before telling them to please remain in contact or stop wasting my time and each time they assure they will stay in contact or contact you on " this day" and it never happens. This has been happening for months. I've never experienced this with any temp agency only this one. Unfortunately, I thought the place was promising but the professionalism is not there. The office itself is located within a refurbished factory. you have to do quite a bit of walking once you get into the building as it is on the 2nd floor and the hallways are long and winding. great if you use a step counter but bad if you have mobility issues and/or have adaptive equipment. be sure to let them know in advance if you have trouble with stairs/walking long distances as the facility doesn't have public elevators. they'll make appropriation for you though as needed. They have some parking spots within close proximity to the building. the building is bus line accessible and is ride sharing friendly. Also, make sure you bring all the appropriate documents they requested prior to your first office visit so it eliminate multiple trips. I found the staff to be very professional and prompt. You'll be aligned great opportunities if you put forth the effort. My only criticism is that the career consultants could be a bit disorganized with the on boarding paperwork but that's to be expected when your mass hiring.

Since at the time I was still unemployed and I had nothing to do, I figured I'd give it a shot. I went down the the place, I filled out the paper work, and I noticed right away I pretty much was a zero match for any of the jobs or skills they were asking for. I have never done accounting, payroll, or anything administrative so I was a bit suspicious. I met the guy one on one and he was as polite as he could be, assured me he was able to find work for any client he had regardless of skills, and still insinuated I was a good match. I walked out of the interview feeling good, I even read reviews about this place on Google and most were positive. (although now I know some companies have fake positive reviews posted to make them look good). I never heard from him again. He wasted my time and I wasted my gas. Trust me when I say this that temp agencies most times are not worth anyone's time and that people would be better off doing internships if they need work experience. Recruiters make money based on how many people they can get to come down to their office and get a percentages of what that person makes from their assignments. I'll bet this guy was desperate for people and I took the bait. I'm sure for the people who are good matches for the jobs at this temp agency, they could have some success. But my advice to recruiters is to not waste people's time if they know ahead a time they aren't matched for any of their jobs. Don't have people come down to the office to fill out paper work UNTIL they get an assignment!

The SAME pep talk and "excited" recruiter told me that I'd be perfect for a job they had. Once I told them I was already with them, the conversation was sped up and she said she'd call me back. I've called back several different people from them and they never once call me back. After further research, I realized that the recruiters get paid to interview people and after that, you're at their disposal. I'm not telling you not to interview with them, but you have been warned. These people are professional when they meet you, but once they've been paid... They handle business like 8 year olds. Quick, unfinished and mean.
