I made an appointment for a rapid covid test to be performed by pharmacy staff and it's now 45 minutes after checking in for my scheduled appointment that I've been sitting here without my name being called. I get that they're busy but that's just ridiculous... when you make an appointment, it shouldn't take an hour after that appointment before being assisted. I'm about to get up and leave now and will get a rapid covid test that I do at home myself instead. My patience is gone.

When I went the next day to return the shoulder brace because it didn't fit properly, they said--you guessed it--they would give me STORE CREDIT. The store manager said that, because I paid store credit for part of my last purchase, I would have to take store credit for this return. I needed special and so called 'rare' anti-parasitic medicine. My usual pharmacy is at Rosauers and I love them dearly but unfortunately they did not have what I needed. They did call around and found that this Walgreens had what I needed. They worked with Dan, the pharmacy manager, to ensure that the paperwork and insurance check marks were all cleared. I drove out to the location on Apple and Parkcenter and found Dan working busily helping a slew of customers. He asked me for my name and knew instantly as to the reason why I was there. He was very polite and professional. I felt at ease even though I was not feeling my best. He explained the nature of the medicine and we exchanged some pleasantries. The items include cleaning supplies, other necessities, of course prescription medications, OTC medications, and food. Please check your local Walgreens for details. This was my first trip and I 10/10 recommend. I drove up and the friendly pharmacy employee took my order of potato chips and ice cream sandwiches. He said he'd check their selection. Minutes later he appeared with my order and my girl was ecstatic. Week made. I paid and was out of there in less than 2 shakes of a lambs tail. If you need a few things, I highly recommend Walgreens drive thru for convenience and the sake of public health during this virus lockdown. I had my entire prescription load transferred to another family owned pharmacy in town and it took my new pharmacy 3 days to accomplish the task. Why did it take so long you ask? Walgreens treated my new pharmacy horribly, they told me. It's the Walgreens way, I told them. For the remainder of my life, I'll never ever step foot into another Walgreens. It's a crappy corporation and they must treat their employees like shit because they treat their customers like shit. New employees come in and those same employees quit pretty damn fast. Just as soon as you get a rapport with one of their staffers there, they quit! That says it all to me. Their drive-thru is consistently broken, their employees consistently call out sick and they are constantly out of my medication. I hope this Walgreens looses every customer they have one day. Someone answered 2 different times during the hold to say "please hold" that's it and back to hold music. Unprofessional but still understandable if helping other customers. However, the third time someone picked up and hung up the phone disconnecting the call. After 27 minutes of holding and being disconnected, I called back to see they started lunch and will be gone for the next hour. They could've taken an extra two minutes to answer a question for my son's medication. And still been on time for their lunch break.
