The crew doing the install work for Goney's directly and were quite professional and courteous. The real benefit of going to Goney's is actually going to the nursery and being able to see what you were going to get installed. The staff at the nursery were very helpful about info about the plants. If you hire a landscaper with no nursery you do not know what you will be getting installed. We felt the selection of available trees at Fairfield was good and their goods prices were on par with others, but their delivery and install was steep. We ended up choosing 3 crepe myrtles and in light of our ages and weather heat, chose to pay for FF to deliver & install. (One would think they'd discount multiple items going to same address but they didn't) Delivery / Install staff were polite, timely, and thorough in their work.

When Lori Murray invited us to today's Pollinator Census Party, my friend and I (Kathy & Kitty) were excited to come back. What a lovely and fun experience it was! Lori was well prepared. She explained the pollinator-counting process perfectly and guided us through our 15-minute observation period. She was continually available to answer questions and even offered to help us submit our results. Lori had her adorable air-conditioned "She Shed" set up with delicious Italian and turkey sandwiches, cookies, candy and the most delicious green tea with honey! Her plants are absolutely beautiful and reasonably priced. My friend bought 4 plants during our first trip. My husband and I plan to return on Tuesday to work with Lori on creating a beautiful full-sun arrangement for a 20 inch pot we have in our backyard (hopefully with a tall "thriller" in the center and beautiful Purple and Fuscia Penta fillers around it that will attract the butterflies and bees like the ones we counted today. I'm looking forward to getting Lori's advice because she clearly knows her plants!
