My wife and I met them at the Brownwood Farmers Market and liked their selection. The plants just looked healthier than some of the other vendors. We bought a shrimp plant/tree. It's been doing well. Went to their nursery to look avocado trees. Jonathon spent a LOT of time with me, showing the different kind of avocado trees. I bought a couple of Haas trees at what I think is a very reasonable price, especially considering their size. The next day he even texted me with some additional information about watering and fertilizing the plants. It was clear he is extremely knowledgeable and cares a great deal about his plants. Called them today to ask for a recommendation on top dressing for my behind lawn. Before I could finish my sentence, the gentleman on the phone cut me off and told me to go to his website and sign up for a consultation. ‍ What could've been a simple two or three minute phone conversation was just too much for him apparently! He just wanted to force me to his website, make me sign up for a consultation, when all I needed was just a simple piece of advice: hey, I would recommend this or I would recommend that.... then I would've went there and bought it but guess what, now I'm not buying anything from him! The do it yourself consultation is a rip off.. He stated that together we'd develop a notebook with a plan and guide for care year round. He came to our home for an hour and verbally threw out a list of plants and calls that a plan. No specific locations for the plants. We tried to meet with him again and he said you already have your plan. 600 rip off. read more

In May of this year I needed some plants replaced and originally contacted Terrascape on Hwy. 301. They came out and planted five plants. I was charged what I though was an absorbent amount of money. Two of the plants (Sedum Golden Moss) have died already and the other three plants were more like pot plants than plants that are planted in the ground. Terrascape does not use any special additives like compost or top soil when planting their plants. These plants had to be removed and something else planted in that space. After spending $1,000.00 I was frustrated and didn't know what to do. I met Jonathan at Brownwood (He has a location where he sells his plants at the Farmers Market on Saturdays). Since then I have been out to his nursery at 1910 Lewis Rd., Leesburg on two occasions (He sets aside Fridays between 7 - 11 AM to accommodate people from The Villages). Jonathan said that if he doesn't have the plant that I want his sister or cousin will have one. It's a family affair. I bought eight plants and several buckets of compost and planted them myself. Jonathan gave me help on what plants to buy for each location in my yard and how to care for the plants. I spent $225.00 and got exactly what I wanted. The plants look great. The only regret I have is not meeting Jonathan before going to Terraccape. read more

*NEVER* even stepped foot in the door. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT Last Friday (1/27/17) I called this establishment and Jonathan answered the phone. I asked him if his store was open, advised him I was 10 minutes away and I would like to come take a look at what he had to offer for a project. I had a few questions I was hoping he could answer along with a few photos of my project. I was absolutely astounded when I was told "I don't have time for you" REALLY? I was thinking I misunderstood Johnathan so I asked, " I am 10 minutes out, I can look around until you are available" Oh no. He then told me... "I deal with people who buy plants not look at them". Unbelievable! I could not believe my ears! He said to me something about loading a truck for a show that he was doing. He was very short with me and VERY RUDE! I am currently looking for a plant grower (flower and vegetable) who is willing to take the time for me. I am highly customer service focused and I wish the same from a grower that is willing to work with us. (2/1/17) Now you track me down to my employer and demand I take my review down from this site?
